This is probably one of the least enjoyable games in years. I've just been bored to death, and it's quite disheartening listening to such a depleted team. I'll stay 'till the end, but it's been a shocking game.

You're absolutely spot on. And the thing is, Quincey's only played 11 minutes, Stafford has played 7 and a half, so the forward are having to concentrate on looking after their defensive end and are sacrificing offence.

I KNOW it's not his job to score, but Maltby has ONE point in 29 games.

He and Flip have looked good together, generated some good chances. However, as per usual, no one can put the puck in the net. Sammy is ueless but I will give him credit for standing up to the opposition, he's not afraid to get involved in the scuffles.

Yeah, I knew you would say Downey, I know how much you like having him on the roster. But I'd much prefer Huds, you can always find a scrapper and someone who's willing to drop the gloves, you can't find a 20 goal scorer very easily which is what Hudler will be.

Who would you rather on the roster, Hudler or Downey?

Everyone suffers slumps mate, everyone. Being young means inconsistent, especially when your ice-time and linemates are all over the shop.

He's a great young prospect, there's no way he's being traded. I'm hoping he'll be a Wing full-time next season.
