Is this an overreaction or what! Without looking at the stats I'd say his 15 goals for the season are 5th on the team, not bad for a guy who needs to shoot more. Of course he does, but saying you wouldn't keep him just because he doesn't take as many shots as you like is ridiculous. Sammy is 3rd (or 4th) on this team for SOG, and yet he ranks 9th for goals. Enough said really.

Flip, just like Dats in his first and second seasons (and even after that) is always looking to pass first, shoot second. Yes he doesn't shoot enough, yes he occasionally blows a good scoring chance in favour of passing the puck, but that's how he was brought up and how he developed. Babcock is always telling him to shoot more and over the months he will, just relax. I can't stand threads where everyone wants everyone traded just because we're in a slump. Btw, Flip was one of our best players last night.
