Yeh on our sports programs they always show plays of the day, and considering they show a hockey fight or goal every now and then I'd like to think they'll show this. But I'll be sure to watch SportsCentre.

Yes as I feel we need another goal scorer for the second line. However, I can’t see us getting this type of player without giving up Hudler, Filppula or Kindl, and I don’t want that to happen, under no circumstances. So therefore no, because it probably wouldn’t be worth it. Should’ve just read your post as I agree 100%.

You know what, I completely agree. When it first happened I thought to myself, 'Wow, that's pretty bad". Then when I saw the replay it looked even worse, and you're right, it was very similar to the Bertuzzi incident because Dandenault took him down and kind of shoved his head down onto the ice. Extremely dangerous and completely unacceptable. If that was a Wings player I'd be ashamed and that's no lie.

Oh tough question that. I was really impressed with our performance tonight and it was one of those games where I felt everyone contributed. Lidstrom is amazing. When people talk about the best players in the league, why isn’t he mentioned more often? It’s always the forwards that are talked about but Lids is unbelievable. Just doesn’t make a mistake. Lebda impressed me; those wheels of his are just great to watch. Always looking to join the rush but he’s also responsible defensively. Lilja too was pretty good and it looks as though he’s finally starting to use his size. Rafalski had a very good game and didn’t turn the puck over tonight. Kronwall is finally starting to impress me and last but certainly not least, Chelios played a faultless game; he really is an ageless wonder. As for the forwards, the best of the lot was Datsyuk who had a 3 point game. Still can’t get that hatttrick though! Filppula as I’ve mentioned had a terrific game and was the lone Wing who was +2. He could’ve had 2 assists with a bit of luck (Hudler and Franzen both denied) and he did some nice work on the PK. I might be that biased but I personally felt he could’ve got a star.

Agreed, almost had an assist when Price stopped that shot from Hudler, and he was involved in the play just before Dats scored his first. Real strong game from Flip. The whole team was impressive tonight, even the 4th line contributed some solid minutes. Much better showing from the defence and Hasek was very good.

Just gotta laugh at that "fight".

I've lost a LOT of respect for Dandenault.

Seriously, Brett Lebda is quietly developing into a very solid defenceman. He's having a real good game tonight, as is all the defence actually. The Wings have played a near faultless game tonight IMO.

Wow Kronwall. Btw, what are the lines tonight? Flip's been on the ice for both of Datsyuk's goals, are they on the same line tonight? Looks like it's Sammy-Zetterberg-Franzen? Lebda's having a real good game, he's really developing into a solid player.

Outstanding first period boys! Datsyuk's gonna net a hat trick tonight, I can feel it. 2nd line has looked great, and the work by the PK was terrific. Hasek looks very sharp too!
