Considering he seems to have Babs on-side, he can’t be written off just yet. But Grigs isn’t having much of an impact which is disappointing considering the massive, albeit unrealistic expectations.

Perhaps there’s more potential in Kronwall, but if I had to choose between he and Lebda right now I’d have to go with Lebda. For someone who’s shown little to no offensive ability, is average defensively and injury prone, Kronwall’s sure does have a lot of hype.

I don’t like seeing anyone on any team get injured. But I don’t have much respect for money bags Matt.

The last Slam of the year got underway yesterday. Ana Ivanovic cruised through to the 2nd round by dropping only 2 games. She’s now No.5 in the world and is a big chance to win the title. Lleyton Hewitt has a new coach and is in some fine form. He'll likely face Djokovic in the 4th round.

Yawn. No one, bar Nadal, is mentally tough enough to match it with Federer on the other side of the net.

I cannot wait to see Kindl make his debut for the Wings and there’s no doubting he has all the tools to be an exceptional player. I’m sick of waiting; I’d love to see him make the roster this season! However when I think about it realistically, the chances of it happening are very slim.

Agreed. I was going for Haas because he seems to trouble him but he was knocked out last night. Davydenko has caused Federer some trouble in the past but he doesn't have the weapons to beat him. I'm hoping Djokovic can make it through to the final because he beat him at Montreal only a month ago.

Can't stand him. Arrogance has been creeping into his press conferences for a while now. And his little tantrum during the Wimbledon final when HawkEye went against him and was “killing him†was just too much for me. Pity Berdych was unwell because IMO he would have beaten Roddick and he matches up well against Federer. But anyhow, cmon Roddick, take care of business.

Which 1 player from our roster are you most anxious to see? For me it’s a choice of 3 but if I had to choose one it would be Grigorenko. The reason being because there’s been so much hype about him and the wait has been so long. How will he fare in his long awaited rookie season; is he capable of putting up 40+ points? I’m interested to see how Babcock handles him and whether he’ll get decent minutes. I sure hope so because I think if all goes well he could be a very valuable player this season. I also can’t wait to see Filppula, not only because he’s my favourite player but considering he played great in the playoff’s he could well be our #2 centre. With a season under his belt he’ll be more confident and hopefully he shots the puck a bit more! He’s got all the tools he just needs to back himself. He's one youngster who Babcock has faith in so he should be given lots of time this season, especially on the special teams. So who's the one player you can't wait to see in action this season?
