Agreed. The price is pleasing, but 3 years is too much. His offensive production seems to be on the decline and with defensive minded forwards Helm and Abdelkader coming through the system how much longer will Maltby be required for?

Let me get this straight. They played well, except for the third? So they didn't play well for 1/3 of the game? In that case I hardly think they played well. I saw this game, and the Sharks were well on top in the second period also. We were just hanging on.

Filppula and Franzen had great chemistry when they were paired in the first few games of the Calgary series. Very pleasing to hear that Babcock is putting them back together again.

Pistons win 93-77 and take a 3-0 series lead. That's all well and good, but there are a few concerns... Davis played 15:20, Maxiell played under 2 minutes. Can't work that out. And Murray played more than Delfino.

We get PTI down here, and I absolutely detest it. As you said, during the rare occasion they actually discuss hockey, all the do is rubbish it.

Yeh the starters will probably burn out again. It's only a matter of time before Delfino sees no time, and that will only leave us with Dice and Hunter. And since I don’t rate Hunter at all these days, it doesn’t leave us with much off the bench…
