Not overly confident really. However I struggle to contemplate Detroit being knocked out again in the 1st round, surely it can’t happen again? This team is a lot stronger than that of last season, and we have Hasek in net. That right there is a massive upgrade. No predictions, just extremely anxious.

There were quite a few changes around the top 10 in the final week, and some other big movers down the order. I honestly have no idea how I won; I took the lead probably about 10 or so weeks in, and I just managed to hold onto it. FinRedWing, Mac25 and sibiriak especially either threatened or actually did take the lead at various stages. Thanks to everyone who participated in the competition and made it possible. Also thanks to the mods who pinned the thread every week. I will post some stats a little later with highest scores, highest average ect and I can post people's week-by-week scores if they would like. I might also post the leaders after each week which should be interesting.

No way Filppula will sit. Quite often when there has been a close game and it’s down to the last few minutes Babs promotes Flip up to the scoring line while Huds drops down. Filppula just offers more as he can log big minutes on the PK if need be. And Ken Daniels made the point a few weeks back that Filppula will, “definitely play in the playoffsâ€Â.

Preds v Sharks will be insane. Ottawa v Pittsburgh should also be a cracker of a series. The worst is clearly New Jersey v Tampa Bay.
