Out of ALL the playoff bound teams, I want to face Dallas.

Lilja is a great shot blocker and he’s very effective on the PK, we’ll be alright.

I rate Quincey pretty highly so it will be interesting to see how he fares. Seriously though, what is it with the injuries?

Just incredibly injury prone; all these injuries are ruining his longevity.

We're currently sitting at 20 SOG without finding the net after tonight's game. Anyone willing to predict what the count will get up to? I'm going to say 33. He is also pointless in 5 games and has 2 points in his last 11 games.

So any updates on Kronwall? Is he done for the season? Seriously it's more than just bad luck, he is so injury prone and it will cut short his career and limit what he can achieve. It’s a shame because I thought he looked great against Nashville. I'm pretty down after this loss. Not only did we concede a 3 goal lead but we lost a top pairing defenseman.

LOL! Calder was very good last night though and was unlucky not to get a point.

Wow. The third period was crazy. The last 5 or so minutes were some of the most intense hockey I've seen.

Holmstrom has 2 points in 11 games, and is without a goal during this time. That's a concern heading into the playoffs; maybe he can only play with Zetterberg feeding him throughout the game...

Samuelsson has a mere 3 points in his last 14 games. Filppula has 7 and Hudler 10. I just cannot see why Sammy should play.

Seriously, given his form I just don’t see how Datsyuk could possibly fail in the playoffs…

Did you see last night’s game? Ken Daniels said that Filppula will definitely play in the playoffs, and I’m assuming he would know the situation pretty well. He kept praising his composure under pressure and his decision making. Flip won’t be scratched. Late in the game Filppula was promoted above Hudler, which sends out a pretty telling picture.

Awesome game, the best I’ve seen this season. Datsyuk is just amazing; whenever he’s on the ice the Wings seem to have a scoring chance. He’s also become very responsibly defensively as seen by his play on the PK. A few seasons ago he would rarely, if ever, get time killing penalties. Shows how much he has matured as a player. The first line tonight was great with Bertuzzi playing a great game. I’m loving his physical presence and his ability to bring the puck up ice and it was great to see him record 2 assists. Franzen was promoted to the first line and he too played an extremely strong game. Lang was fairly average, Hudler wasn’t too bad, but Calder was the standout for mine on the second line. His play in the first period in particular was terrific. Filppula played a strong game and it was interesting to hear the commentators say that he will be playing in the playoffs. They didn’t even hint at the possibility he will be scratched. You would assume that he’s a lock and it’s out of Hudler and Samuelsson. And Osgood was fantastic.
