Brilliant. And I agree hockeycrazy3033, this is easily the most excited I have felt for a long time over a trade acquisition. I remember a few years back every time we played the Canucks Bertuzzi would destroy us. You look at some clips on YouTube and half of the highlights are against the Wings. I just can’t believe he’s with us now.

Yes you did, my bad. Howard has been pretty good this season though, and he was really getting a good rhythm going before he got injured. Liv was sent down to the ECHL, so on that alone I would say Howard has clearly been the more impressive goalie. But that’s enough of the Howard/Liv debate.

It's pretty evident Flip’s role in the team has been to simply play solid defensively and concentrate on keeping the puck out of his own net. I wonder what he'll be able to do, maybe next season, when he’s on a scoring line and he can completely showcase his offensive talents.

When thinking about the lines once everyone is fit and firing, that's what I came up with too. That's an incredibly strong set of forwards, and when your 4th line winger has scored a hat trick you know you're in good shape.
