Yeh I was thinking about this exact issue during the game. How will the game impact Forsberg’s decision? Hopefully he realises that it’s just one game and we had a bad night. However the game highlighted some major issues this team will face in the playoffs. The Flyers played extremely physical last night, and we couldn’t take it. Not a good sign. Forsberg was very impressive last night though. Strong on the puck and created numerous scoring opportunities.

I was going to mention Kronwall. He was pretty pathetic last night. I don’t get to see the Wings play too often but whenever I have, I must say he hasn't been all that impressive. Maybe I just catch him on off days but he’s been a letdown especially given all the hype.

We were absolutely mauled out there tonight. They punished us and unless we sign someone with size who is willing to hit, I’m deeply concerned for the playoffs. And of course it doesn’t help when you’re goalie is average at best. I am absolutely sick and tired of Williams. He has to go, and yet he’s out there on the PP! What does Babcock see in this guy? And Lang, he can go to. I’m sick of his lack of effort and careless play. Our second line is awful; something has to be done. And Lilja summed himself up when he put his hands over his head trying to protect himself.

On the back of last night’s performance, Lang must go. He seems to be putting in less effort with every outing. Yes he’s a proven playoff performer but given his state of mind I can’t see him turning it around.

Pity, would've liked Nagy on this team. Very good player. Ah well, plenty more fish in the sea.

Lang going to the Rangers makes perfect sense. He and Jagr were a pretty dynamic duo in Washington a few years back and they shouldn’t have a problem recreating that chemistry.
