Kindl is almost better already, and will be far better after he spends as much time in the NHL as Ericsson has. Going to be embarrassing when Kindl passes Ericsson on the depth chart even though he's paid almost $2.5 mil less.

This stuffs up future negotiating deals with these two, for sure. Can you imagine what they're going to command given what Jonathan FREAKING Ericsson just got? Crazy, good one Kenny.

This by far the worst and most stupid thing Holland has EVER done. Even more ridiculous than trading for Cory Cross. A truly bizarre signing, I cannot believe this is actually happening.

Agreed, very good deal for STL. And they signed Berglund for 2 years, $4.5mil a few months back too, so they've got some good deals, admittedly only short term, but still.

Chuck Kobasew maybe? If we lose Eaves, he might be a decent option. Some offensive potential and good PK'er. Could do worse. Not exactly happy with his salary last season though, hopefully he signs for less. Makes you realise how good a deal we had Eaves/Miller on, steals both of them.

I knew this was going to happen, all the quotes about Eaves have led me to believe he's going to sign elsewhere. Very upsetting, one of my favourite players, our best PK'er (IMO), he's a pretty reasonable loss. Don't go Patty.

In say 4-5 years... Filppula - Datsyuk - Franzen Tatar - Zetterberg - Jurco Nyquist - Jarnkrok - Pulkkinen Abdealkder - Helm - Mursak Sheahan, Andersson, Ferraro all there or there abouts too. Scary. Obviously a few what if's, but still...
