Agreed. It's just a wash of players, a group put together without any real thought. For crying out loud, just give Jan a few shifts on a scoring line. What do we have to lose? Lets see how he looks. With his speed I'm sure he'll create something.

This game has turned into a special teams joke, but to me Nyquist is too small to be an NHL regular. Tatar isn't the play Gus is, but he's physically ready. I wish he got a shot.

If they are really the lines we're rolling with, then yuck. If our 4th line really is what is listed in the OP, they will play about 3 minutes. Why not try this? Filppula - Zetterberg - Hudler Franzen - Abdelkakder - Mursak Cleary - Helm - Miller Conner - Emmerton - Holmstrom

Hossa regularly plays on the PK, and is excellent at takeaways. Franzen does neither. Hossa >>>>>>>>>> Franzen.

Agree with all of this. Flip and Hank were amazing in the first two periods, but they've had to carry us every night since Dats has been out, and as they were out there every other shift, they were exhausted in the 3rd. Smith looks good and is clearly ready to be an NHL regular. Hopefully Kindl isn't out long, he's been impressive lately. Mistake by Babcock to limit the 4th line to one shift in the third. Freaking 33 seconds was all Mursak saw in the third when we could have benefited from his speed. Freaking heck Babcock, just dress 7 defenceman if you're not going to play the kid. He's been looking good, skating well, playing physical, and he gets 33 seconds in the third? Wyy bother?

Of that list, Cleary is the one who is frustrating me the most. I’m pulling my hair out watching him play because he’s totally ineffective out there. Hit someone, take shots on goal, just freaking do something with all the ice time you’re gifted.

I agree. I think Nyquist is more deserving right now, but after teasing Tatar not once but twice with call-ups only not to play, I'd like to see him.
