Very much agreed. Even coming into this season I expected him to be a 20-20 type guy in the NHL; alas I don’t think he’ll ever put up those numbers. I just don’t think he has the hands to be able to be a scorer so I expect him to be a 10-15 guy. I know he’s hated on here, but I think he’s a slightly less skilled version of Kopecky.

I certainly don't mind Emmerton, but all-in-all hes a pretty bland prospect. I expect Mursak to be the 12 forward next season, and we’ll probably keep at least one of Draper and Miller. That means that Emmerton will be up against it to make the roster, and sadly I think we’ll lose him on waivers. He’s a decent prospect, what I like most about him is his on-ice vision, his solid defensive game, and that he just does everything reasonably well. I’d certainly like to have him up here next season, and I’d hate to lose him for nothing, but I just can’t see the Wings losing all of Modano, Miller and Draper which is probably what it’ll take for Emmerton to crack the roster.

One goal in 21 games.

I'd be perfectly comfortable with it. MacDonald has been a fantastic back-up goalie.
-
He seriouly doesn't even look like he's trying. How about late in the game, we've got a potential 3-on-2, and he juts dumps it in on the goalie who freezes the puck. Seriously Johan? Start moving your feet, start going to dangerous areas, start hitting, shooting, just show some effort. It's infuriating.

Freaking Hossa. Anyone but Hossa.

Lidstrom for the OT winner.

As it should be.

These refs are unbelievable.

I love Eaves.

Look who it is! Long time no see.

Gah, looks like an easy week, which I called, but not an easy week for me. 13 is okay, but not enough. Congrats CaliWingsNut and thanks kook!

He's one of my favourite players in the league, very disappointing. And he's my fantasy teams best player, so that sucks too, but I'm a day away from elimination anyway.
-
I hope Mursak plays, as I've got this feeling he will score if he's in tonight. GO WINGS!

I'm going to bed now, but when I wake up I'm going to watch IF I can log in! I went overseas, forgot my log-in, but my email has stuffed up so I can't look up username records. I've got a fair idea what it might be which I'll try again tomorrow, but should it not work, I hope you can help me!

Highly skilled, very strong with the puck, sound defensively, I’ve seen him a few times and he’s just a very solid hockey player who you want on your team. Very exciting prospect, certainly one of our best.

So incredibly pumped with this news! Probably my third fav prospect behind Mursak and Pulu. He's an underrated prospect is Gus, will at the very least be a third line winger, but probably a second. Very strong upside.

Friday, March 25 New Jersey at Pittsburgh Florida at Buffalo Washington at Ottawa Carolina at Tampa Bay Vancouver at Atlanta Saturday, March 26 NY Rangers at Boston Colorado at Los Angeles (x2) New Jersey at Buffalo Toronto at Detroit Tampa Bay at Carolina Washington at Montreal Philadelphia at NY Islanders Dallas at Nashville St. Louis at Minnesota Anaheim at Chicago San Jose at Phoenix Calgary at Edmonton Sunday, March 27 Florida at Pittsburgh Ottawa at Atlanta Vancouver at Columbus Boston at Philadelphia I said last week looked hard and it was. I actually think this week looks easy, we shall see! Thanks kook!

For me they both looked terrific. I was very disappointed we basically got no Mursak sightings in the last 12 or so minutes, not one shift, unless I am mistaken. Frustrating as he was playing well. Also, Patrick Eaves was a GUN last night, made me proud with every shift. What a player.

Haha this totally shocked me after I got home from work and chucked on the recorded game. Total shock! Good for Kenny, he's a fantastic caller.

Welcome, and there are quite a few big Filppula fans around these parts.

Has anyone else been as impressed as I have with Kindl? As expected, he started the season slowly, but since he's been a virtual regular he's playing with more confidence and the difference it makes in his game is enormous. He’s like a different player out there, he’s playing much more phusical along the boards, he’s making good decisions, and perhaps most impressive of all, he seems to know when to stay back and when to jump in offensively. Over the past 12 games, he's only once been a minus player, pretty telling stat I think. He’s got all the tools to be a terrific NHL defenseman. He’s got good size, he’s an effortless skater, he’s showing the willingness to play physical, I can’t see how he doesn’t become at the very least a 2nd pairing defenseman. He waited a long time for this oppertunity, and now that he's got it he seems to be relishing it. Keep it up Jakub.

The Joe's reaction to Modano's tying goal was one of the loudest I've ever heard come out of the venue!

He's quietly up to 16 now, pretty good considering his career high is 19 and he's missed some time.
