Being honest, can't stand the guy. I hope he takes the cash some team gives him at the end of this season, and runs, because when he's not on a line with Briere and Hartnell, he might find life not quite so rosy. All he did was sook in Detroit.
-
Heck of a play between those two though, and the finish at high speed by Mursak with a defender right on his tail, excellent stuff. These two really are great prospects.
-
Pistons got smashed by like 15 or 20 last night, awesome team this. Totally rockin'.
-
Well for now you can be content with listening to it. My link

Andersson will probably need another season in the AHL?? He'll need at least TWO more, the guy is incredibly bland IMO.
-
Yeah could well be. Doesn't Matt at RWC have some contacts, maybe he had some inside info. I get that bolting from NA to Sweden might not have been great for him or his prospect ranking, but the jump coupled with these quotes might be the reason why...
-
This only a few months after absolutely bagging him, and I mean giving him the bagging of a lifetime with some of the harshest comments I can recall.
-
That's pretty disappointing. There's certainly an element of truth to what he said, but to say it so blunty, in fact to even feel the need to say it at all, is very worrying. I had hoped he'd be our back-up next season, but on the back of these comments, I'm not so sure he'll get the chance.
-
What could we get for Datsyuk?? I'm thinking one of the bubble teams might want some of our guys, maybe Hank or Franzen to assist them with their playoff runs. Obviously we won't be in the situation to challange so we might as well load up on picks/prospects.

Curt Fraser on Mursak's GWG last night: "Mursak's goal was...you know...will be on the highlight tape for the year...great goal".
-
I've forgotten what it feels like.
-
Sold on this... Weber - Smith Stuart - Ericsson Kindl - Lashoff Nicastro, Almquist, Pyett, Kolosov, Fournier, ect, ect.
-
Yeah but who would Owens beat out for a spot? Abdelkader, Helm, Eaves, Miller, Mursak, Emmerton, iFlip, he can't seriously threaten those guys IMO.
-
Imagine this... Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Franzen Tatar - Filppula - Pulkkinen Abdelkader - Jarnkrok - Mursak Emmerton - Helm - Eaves
-
Scares me a little.

2011/12: Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Franzen - Filppula - Hudler Cleary - Abdelkader - Bertuzzi Eaves - Helm - Mursak (Emmerton) Tatar could certainly make the team, ditto Smith, but as they still have year(s) to run on their contracts, no need when the team is already loaded. Frustrating for Tatar though, hopefully he takes it well. 2012/13: Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Cleary Franzen - Filppula - Hudler Tatar - Abdelkader - Mursak (sick line) Emmerton - Helm - Eaves

In good news, Jan Mursak scored the GWG on the farm tonight. Hudler showed some very good signs late in the 3rd, almost scored a goal and nearly set up another couple. He looked a bit soft and hesitant at times, but in others he looked like the old, skillful Hudler. Hopefully the latter appears more often.
-
Franzen (aside from the goal), Bertuzzi, Rafalski all sucked tonight. Ugly. Helm and Abby brought energy, Cleary was good, Flip looked lively and was crashing the net, good to see.
-
I didn't even think of it as Aussie slang when I typed it too, just habit I guess!
-
Poor Panger, he seems like a ripper bloke.
-
His continued lack of form, passed the quarter mark of the season, does concern me. It's a very long season though and I'm not giving up on him yet. He's just not playing with the same spark, hunger or energy though, it's as though the intensity has completely been taken away from his game. C'mon Huds, you're a lot better than this mate.
-
Zetterberg looks really, really average tonight.
-
What the? We've got a Ritola thread from only a day ago, he scores tonight so I post about it, and I'm whining?
-
I wonder what his upside is. I see him as being a 2nd line winger. Very exciting prospect.
