Some very positive, glowing comments about Hudler there from Babs, hopefully he takes it on board, works hard, and shows everyone what he's capable of. BTW, loving that second line tonight. Abby!

If Abdelkader sits it's an absolute joke. Thankfully, he wont.

I haven't seen as much of his play this season as most of you would have, but I feel you're all being too harsh. Yes he's struggling, and I've sometimes yelled at the TV after seeing him do something stupid, but I feel like we need to give him time to re-adjust. Trading him would be absolutely disasterous because I'm certain that if a team was willing to trade for him, they'd give him consistent top 6 minutes and regular PP time. He sometimes gets that here, but if he doesn't instantly produce, coach gets frustrated and demotes him again, thus deflating his already low confidence. Hudler is a very gifted player, he put up nearly 60 points last time he was here, obviously his slow start means that's unlikely to happen this season, but I am positive that things will turn around for him and by seasons end we'll be happy to have the little guy on the team again.

Yeah Piche is in Toledo, when he should be in GR developing.

Meech getting lots of ice time is good for him, but I'd rather Kolosov, Lashoff and Piche play.

Bit of a pickle, a good pickle though. IMO Abdelkader belongs on the 3rd line, he was looking absolutely superb on that line, but due to our depth he's now playing on the 4th. I'm also of the belief that you can't sit Hudler, he clicks with Flip and they belong on the 2nd together. So my ideal lines look like... Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Hudler - Filppula - Franzen Cleary - Abdelkader - Bertuzzi Eaves - Helm - Miller No Modano. We really could've done without him this season, just don't see the real need. I get though that logically you sit Miller, put Abby in his place, and put Modano on Abby's 3rd line centre role.

I've got a feeling Conklin will start for the Blues. I'm not sure what to do about my fantasy team goalie wise. All 3 of my goalies could potentially play tomorrow, but Hiller's on a B2B, and Conklin might get blown out by the Wings (fingers crossed). I'll have Franzen, Huds, Berglund and Steen in action for this one.
