Seriously, I'm over the moon. Yes Pulkkinen obviously fell a looong way, so there's obviously legitimate concerns however in the 4th round you've simply got to take the punt. If he develops, gets stronger, learns to cope better to physicality, we have a potential sniping winger, and that was probably our biggest need. I get the feeling we won't have to wait too long to know unless this is a boom or bust pick, but it was WELL worth the punt. The upside was too good to ignore.

Further conformation that Buffalo did indeed want Sheahan: So he was obviously right there. The Wings said they had 4-5 guys they wanted at #21, but felt so strongly on Sheahan that they didn't want to trade down. Encouraging.

Hockey's Future bio: Talent Analysis Sheahan is an excellent playmaker and scorer. His skating is effortless, and he has the size to comepte at the next level. Future Projects as a first liner, but is versatile enough to play any role. A little more optimistic.

Seriously, as much as it would suck, I wouldn't be totally opposed to trading down. Still a ton of talent left on the board IMO. But of course take that route and you might not get the sheer quality of talent that you'd get at 21.
