Off to see Kronner (and Stanley again) in 1,5 hour
-
Stanley and Lidström was in Västerås yesterday. I got a Redwing t-shirt signed but unfortunately there were to many people there so I couldn't get a photograph of him and me. I got some other pics that I'll post when I get back home. Hopefully I get to meet Kronwall tomorrow and Sammy on Tuesday and get some new photo-ops. here is a link to Västerås homepage and a short videosegment of Lidas and the Cup: http://www.vik.se/artikel.asp?strukturId=2...;artikelId=3530 Only bad thing yesterday: My son didn't get baptized in the Cup PS: the video is from when he's meeting sponsors to VIK hockeyteam (not as many people at that time)

Homer uses the Stanley Cup in a family Baptism

I read somewhere that Lilja also is going to baptize his two kids when it's his turn. I'm off tomorrow to see Lidström and Stanley in Västerås. I'll be bringing my 4 month old son. Maybe I can ask "Lidas" to pour some water on my son's head!! -
Does anyone now if it's listed somewhere what date every player will spend with the cup? I read somewhere that Stanley will be in Sweden 21 July -30 July but I need the exact dates so I can plan my travelling!
-
My sons mother is originally from Russia and I'm from Sweden. When I told my baby son that we signed Hossa his first word was in english!! - He said " Repeat" Ok maybe I'm bending the truth a little but we both really like this signing!! Let's go wings!

Jag fattar vad du menar! Nice pics by the way!

Did he say anything about bringing "Stanley" to Västerås (sometime end of July) or will he bring it elsewhere? I really hope he brings it to Västerås like he did in -02.
-
I hope I'll be able to meet "Stanley" in Västerås (With The Captain), In Mariefred (with Sammy) and in Järfälla (with Kronner). It would be awesome to meet them. Last time when Lidas came home (after winning the cup) he had Stanley, Norris and Conn Smythe with him and I got to take my picture with him and the trophies.

Thanks! I hope that you had/will have (depending on when you read this) a great day at the parade!
-
It's so appropriate that they hold the parade today when it's Swedens "national-day" (like your 4:th of July). Oh I so wish I could be there. Salute to the Stanley Cup CHAMPS!!!

I wouldn't care who they would play as long as I would get to see the wings play live. I was an exchangestudent in Muskegon back in 88-89 but never got the chance to go to a game Let's go Wings!

Hmm A meeting with Belarus in the olympics (again) . Me not like.

Yes!! Some hockeycomfort after the s***ty loses for Sweden and the Wings this weekend! Fedorov had a great tournament. Only canadian I feel sorry for is Stevie Y. I'm so happy that Ryan ***-laugh (sp!) didn't get a goldmedal!

Anybody Know How to Watch Elitserien Games Online
Stockholm-wing replied to juice71285's topic in General
Try "Canal +" homepage www.canalplus.se/grid.asp?guid=7A5172F4-99EF-45EC-BD29-4759F2C9325D Unfortunately (for you, if you don't know swedish) it's all in swedish. If you look towards the upper righthand corner it says "Nedsläpp Elitserien - se alla matcher här". Press that link. Not sure how it works since I haven't tried it because I have the games on tv. Good luck! -
One Game - That's great news!! I think that Pronger showed (with his ugly hit from behind) how (if he ever goes to prison) he would try to get "something" in the shower. Now let's hope that Homer gets his hattrick in game 4!

Article in Expressen In short the article says that because of the bad treatment Liv got from HV71 last season he wants to leave the team and play somewhere else. Detroit doesn't want to bring him over and let him play in the minors because they think that SEL is a good league to keep developing in according to scout HÃ¥kan Andersson Detroit still have interest in Liv and HÃ¥kan says that he shouldn't worry " The best goalkeepers usually peak around 35"
