Holmstrom also needs to get that call from game 4 out of his head, I don't think he played his game yesterday, and thats a big reason the wings lost. The league isn't going to mess up on a goaltender intereference call again, Homer's absolutely GOT to get in turco's face tomorrow.

Wings 5 - Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrom, Rafalski, Helm Stars 2 - Morrow (2) It seems like the odds would say that turco could only lose so many games at the Joe, but I just don't see the wings losing this game.

I think the league will try to give the Flyers some helo, but without there top D-men there's nothing that a ref can do to help them win this one.

I wouldn't want too many reviews in a game, because there would be more dead time and the game would lose its pace. I wouldn't want hockey to become like football, were there's so much stoppage, but I think that there should be ways to overturn goals from upstairs, because what happened last night, is absolutely inexcusable. It's a trick subject, but the best solution would probably be allowing a team one challenge for a game, as well has having every play be reviwed from upstairs, and getting the message to the ref quickly so they don't start play. The league would have to get creative so the game would lose pace, and creativity and innovation aren't exactly the first words that come to mind when I hear the name Gary Bettman.

I don't like it. In game 3 Zetterberg got that shorthander because Richards was on the point. We can't afford to move Dats or Hank to the point, and I don't think we have anyone else whose good enough defensively and on the point to be worth moving there.

Absolutely unbelievable. The games all about him, O'halloran can't just officiate a game, he always feels the need to make a controversial game changing call. As a minor leauge official, I've scene guys like him before, who crave attention, it's absolutely pathetic. He has no business reffing in the NHL, let alone the WCF

Not 1, but 2 wings goals taken away. Unbelievable! It was disgusting watching Gary Bettman sit there grinning his ass off watching his cronies ensure there was a game 5. That was the most one sided playoff officiating I've ever scene. Period. I'm just so sick of the Stars moaning about having Holmstrom in there crease when Turcos sitting back there taking cheap shots and Otts beating his head into the ground with no time left in a game.

I know that he was tearing it up way back when in Russia, and seemed liek a surefire star. I haven't heard anything about him since he messed up his leg. Does anyone know what became of him?

This game gonna get real chippy if it gets to be a big lead in the 3rd. It should be a big priority to proctect Hank and Dats. Wings 3 Stars 1 I'm sensing 1+ goals for Homer tonight.

I'm not sure if MCarty will be able to crack the roster next year. I'd rather see them develop some other guys. I think Flippula could have a HUGE year next year. If Franzen plays close to the level he was playing at before he got hurt they're both going to put up a lot of points

Stars will come out hard, they won't roll over like the dives. If Osgood can hold off the Stars for the first thirty minutes, the wings should pull away and take control.

I think all the short playoff series are hurting the league. to the casual fan, watching the six and seven game NBA series sounds more appealing than all the four and five game NHL series. Granted, I would rather put needles through my eyes than watch a full NBA game, but I think that hockey is losing a lot of potential viewers.

Just off the top of my head... 1. Floppa 2. Foote 3. Ribiero 4. Ott 5. Turco None of them come remotely close to matching my hate of Patrick Roy and Claude Lemeuix though.

The stars couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat..... Turcos starting to lose it. Lets hope the wings can finish this one off Wednesday. Go Wings!

This is make or break game for the stars. Even if they lose the series, if they can make it six or seven, it'll be a big step towards a cup. But if they get bounced in 5, it's going to be hard to say they really belonged in this series. I think Turcos ready to fall apart with all the screaning and traffic in front of hi0m. having Drake is huge for the Wings. I agree that he would hang'em up if we win it all this year. I'm sure this is a nice change of pace from playing for the blues and getting knocked out by the wings every year
