Pittsburghs going to come out real hard for the first few minute s and if we don't play sloppy and let them score we can pull this off. I'm just worried because of the way they've scored early in the first the past 2 games.

Datsyuks been overdue for a while and it's starting to come out. I just pray to God the wings have something left in the tank.

I don't think I've scene a period of hockey that exhilirating in my life. Can't believe that after getting their asses handed to them in the 3rd they get that goal. Unbelievable, I'm shaking as I type this.

The wings can still win this one, but Dats and Hank MUST step up and put the puck in the net. I know they've generated all sorts of scoring chances, and are playing an excellent defensive series, but there comes a point in the Stanley Cup finals were you just can't make it any farther without your best players scoring goals. They haven't scored since game 1, and their line absolutely has to come through offensively if the wings are gonna pull this off. Go Wings!

The wings are playing sloppy, and as much as i hate to say it, the Pens look damn good. If the Pens score early into this period, the wings can kiss this one goodnight. I also don't like our odds in Pitt for game 6. The wings need to find a way to pull this one off.

He strikes me as a little bit of Dats and little bit of Zetterberg. I don't think he'll ever put up 100 points, but he has the ability to hold the puck on a string like datsyuk, and can back check and fore check similarly to Hank in his second year. He didn't have very many assists this year, but I think in his prime he'll have 2-4 years of roughly 75 points.

Hank and Z will both have about 100 points, and the wings won't have anyone reach 50 goals. 4. Will a rookie defenseman find himself with a regular roster spot? If yes, who? Yes, Meech will be one of our top six d-men this year. 5. Will Howard back-up Ozzie with a winning record and a good statistical showing? Yes, Howard will be a bit inconsistent but show very promising flashes and will win about half of his games with solid stats. 6. Out of Filppula, Samuelsson, and Hudler, who tallies the most points? Most goals? Filpula will score close to 60 points if he plays on a line with Franz. Hudler will lead that group in goal with roughly 25. 7. Which Darren makes the top 13 forwards - McCarty, Helm or Both? Helm will earn a permanent spot on the fourth line, McCarty won't be back. 8. Does Kopecky score either of 10 goals or 20 points? No, I expect not to play in many games, and to get minimal ice time in those he does play in. 9. His playoff scoring rate would equate to 54 points on a regular season. Can Niklas Kronwall break 50 points next regular season? Yes, Kronner will be right around 50 points. 10. Predict the number of Red Wing wins for next season, and their number of wins against Chicago. 52 wins, 6 against the Hawks.

Status quo, don't resign Liljia, Chelios will want to come back, and if he wants to play for real cheap, It would be a consideration, but I'm not sure how much game he has left. Defensively I'd like to look something like this Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Lebda-Chelios/Meech/Ericsonn I could see any of those three at the last defensive spot.

So excited, I couldn't sleep last night. Wings will smother them and win 5-2 both Penguin goals coming on the powerplay. Dats will finally light the lamp in this series, and play one of his best games in recent memory.

I think he's at the point in his career were he hasn't accepted that hes not the leagues only superstar, and is to immature to give credit to his opponents. I think when the wings cap the series off he'll finally acknowledge the play of Hank and the rest of the wings.

Kidding? Dats and Hank are both in their prime, and are significantly better than Crosby. He can't forcheck, or play shutdown D like them. Some day, but right now they are miles ahead of Sid.

Filpulla, Hudler, Lebda, Helm, and many other players on this team are very underrated, and a few such as Kronwall and Franzen are finally getting recognition. I really don't think there is one 'overrated' player on the wings.

I'm just really not worried in the slightest, the pens even with the help of the refs can't touch us on our home ice. Go Wings!!

Seriosuly?!? NBC praised Babcock for getting his top line out there on a deep dump in after an icing call. Really? That's what coach of the year material is? Training your players to get off the ice when you are tired and there is a strong dump in? ...somebody sounds bitter

It seemed like Therrien's complaints got to the crew. They seemed more intent on calling obstruction, and the 5 on 3 seemed like a plea for a Penguins goal. If the wings could overcome that, there's nothing else the Penguins can do! GO WINGS!

I'm riding the man love train. At the end of the game I was set that Z was our MVP, but after watching the replays and seeing the big stops Ozzie came up with down the stretch I'm deliberating and completely torn on the matter.

He's already a complete player and shows amazing composure for a player his age he has the energy of a young guy and plays with the knowledge of an old vet.
