I have to think there's a chance of return this series, if not I doubt they would be so adamant about hiding the injury.

Pat Verbeek basically came here right in between the 98 and 01 cup. I would've liked to see him hoist the cup in red and white.

I don't see this as an issue. I think what people see is that the Red Wings have excellent O, but other teams like Pittsburgh have good offense, but the thing that makes the wings great is that they get shutdown play from all 4 lines night in and night out -

Bure is definately a better goal scorer, but Datsyuk is the more complete player

I almost felt bad for the Pens, they would've really been under the gun to make a big move if they lost Orpik, at least they won't have too much to worry about in regards to signing Staal.

2 things in recent history make me a little scared of this deal 1. the Tiger's offseason this year, where just about everyone thought they'd win the world series 2. the Kariya & Selanne deal in Colorado a few years back where they got great bargains and seemed like a sure thing to win the cup.

unbelievable, I haven't had internet access all day, and then a guy at work tells me we got Hossa, I almost peed myself. Can't wait to hear Kenny come on 1130 at 5:35 with wojo

If they have to trade Samuelson definately go for it, but I don't think Kenny wants to part with any of the players who played throughout the finals. They'll have to finagle a little bit, but you can't say it wasn't worth it to Hossa, espeacially since the wings have so much depth.

i can't see that happening, Jagr doesn't really fit in with this team, I would like to see a veteran forward added though.

Peca would probably be the most expensive, but I have mad love for the guy and would be thrilled to see him wearing the winged wheel.
