Yeah, that was a "Close your eyes and hope it hits you" shot. Vermette was wide open, coming off the bench, and a clear lane to Howie. Again, nothing Howie could have done other than hope it hits him and deflects away. Hey, at least they gave up 1 goal this time in the 1st!
