Howie, well, he just didn't play as well as he has done in the past few games. Just not a good effort by everyone tonight. I expect Ozzie will get the start on Wednesday, give Howie the game to clear his head a bit and work on his rebound control (it directly contributed to two goals tonight).

Wouldn't matter if it was Ozzie in net tonight if you can't score on 38+ shots! Offense is peppering him, just not getting both the luck and the timing right. 5-0 Kings. PPG after the Wings managed to kill off 2 minutes. 13:57 left in the period. EDIT: Looked like Ozzie was starting to get kitted up there on that camera shot after the 5th goal. Howie might not be in net for too much longer.

Man, so far, Quick is the better of the goalies out there, coming up with the big saves for his team. Looks like it's going to be one of those games where we need lucky bounces tonight.

Nice game by the Wings. Got dominated for stretches during the game, but managed to hang on with the help of Ozzie and the D. So far, Ozzie looks to be back to his old form, and this month should help him get into a groove with all of the games so close together (thought WTF was he thinking on the turnover in P2?). Not sure why Ericsson felt he had to fight for no reason whatsoever and risk handing momentum to the Devils, but at least he was off the ice for 5 minutes and not screw up . Larsson doesn't know jack s*** about both Howard and Ozzie. Howie has been superb in his starts (not lately though), and Ozzie has been serviceable (got the team a pt against the Kings). What has Larsson done in the NHL of note? In the grand history of the NHL, Larsson hasn't done anything in the league. Sorry, Larsson, maybe once you grow up and, actually, get us through a season of injuries or bring the team to two straight SCF appearances, keep that ******* known as your mouth shut, we don't need to hear your oral farts.
