That always seems to happen with the Wings. They take 9^50 SOG and have only 3 goals to show, but the opposition has 4 SOG but 8 goals somehow . Delay of game penalty to the Caps. Capitalize on this, Wings!!!

I think that hurts him a bit as that he has to rely more on the D, luck, and skill (in that order) to make the saves as opposed to, say, Gigurre. C'mon, Wings, gets some goals here!

Gonna be a difficult game for Ozzie, as he hasn't played a full game in, what, a month. I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzie lets in a softie or two (well, ones that don't involve his 5-hole). 4-3 Wings over the Caps, hopefully. The Islanders are doing something that the Wings should have been doing throughout the season when the have a lead: try to add on it. After the 2nd Period Red Wings: 0 Islanders: 4 Shots on Goal so far Red Wings: 9 Islanders: 25 Last goal for the Islanders came from Streit (6) @ 16:19 2nd Period. Assists from Bailey (12) and Hillen (11), a power play goal. Wings have no jump and are being badly outplayed and outhustled by the Islanders. Our top players (Datsyuk, Bertuzzi, etc) aren't showing up as they should. They have an excellent chance of getting in to 8th place in the conference with the Kings idle tonight, but they just s*** the bed tonight. All I want right now is 1 goal to keep from being shut out, again, this season. Just a bad, bad game tonight.
