Renault given 2 year suspended ban Renault is pretty much on probation until 2011, like how McLaren is on probation until the end of the year for lying to the stewards at Australia earlier this year. An indefinite ban on any motorsport involvement for Flavio. His involvement in motorsports for now on will only be as a fan, and maybe only from his home. Piquet appologized to the WMSC for his involvement in the Singapore stunt, but was given immunity for his cooperation. The WMSC found that Alonso had no involvement in this mess, so no punishment for him. Renault did not get a fine out of this, so I guess that's a bit of a win for them.
