flaming legace is an outrage, he has done nothing to deserve it tonites game any more than the rest of the team, he deserves it alot less. Some people are acting like he let in terrible goals tonite, which he hasnt even done all season.

If Manny has a bad game, the fans won't rip on him. It's only like that with Oz. Pathetic I know. And you're right. This happens to every team, and it most definitely is a reality check. Wings fans are just too damn spoiled that the second the team loses by three goals it's all chaos as if the world had ended. Oh, they will if he ever actually becomes 'THE' #1 goaltender here. I remember waaaaay back when Ozzie was the golden boy... when he was a backup. I remember that as well. Back then it was Ozzie could do no wrong. Now it's Manny. Next it will be Manny is horrible, and Howard can do no wrong..and so on. Hell a few more starts like Atlanta and JFH might just skip right on by the He is awesome phase in D-town. i agree, damn that goalie fresh off college not being perfect. i mean jesus christ! hes played almost 5 or so games now in the nhl in his career, he should be flawless!

true, but osgood wasnt exactly all on his own seeming how he only had 23 shots to face the whole game. 6 goals in 23 shots is just really sad no matter who you are.

6-3. Wings were leading 3-0 in the second, then the Stars scored 6 in a row after that. Holy crap, the Stars scored 6 in a row? Glad I wasn't here, I won't watch the tape then. when i got home i bet my friend seeing it was 3 - 0 that the game would be tied after i saw we had ozzie was in net.(just a hunch ) but no way did i think the wings would just collapse allowing 6 goals. but then again, they allowed the same amount of shots on net as last game roughly and scored 3 goals, also, against a better team than dallas. But then again manny was in net last time. hm, go figure lol.

to be honest, i dont really see whats so bad about oln. its hockey on television. is there really a difference in what channel it is? im happy as long as its on. i mean what is it that pisses every body off about it so much? the announcers arnt the greatest, but at least they have some cool stuff like around the league highlights and coverage during the games, and things like that. i think i might be the only one with out beef about oln

At least NN and a few others have sense and know that the team needs to learn how to play for 60 minutes and don't blame it just on Ozzy when our defense stands and watches the other team. but the thing i noticed is, theres always the Defense sucks, not ozzies fault rants after his games. when legace plays theres no 6 goals allowed to make excuses for and thats why people prefer him.

trade manny? i dont think howard can be a starter yet. and its obvious hes our only other real long term option. or wait theres ozzie. so, its obvious howard is or only other real long term option still.

W L T GA GAA SOG S % ENG SO 517:34 4 4 0 12 1.39 197 185 .939 0 2 ok.. cujo has more wins, more games played, same goals allowed, lower GAA more SOG and S with a better save percentage, and also, cujo had to shut outs. so in the playoffs, where it matters most, who really puts up the stats?? CUJO Osgood was playing for a much worse team against a much more offensively capable team. He played out of his mind and barely kept the scores from getting silly...the Blues were just that outmatched. but, cujo out of average had just as many shots a game as osgood did. so obviously cujo didnt have a walk in the park either.

You'd take Darren McCarty's for 40 games over Sergei Fedorov for 80? i gotta agree, out of the choices there, as much as i like mccarty, and enforcers, a player like fedorov would be alot more helpful.

Stop putting words in my mouth. I didn't say he was going to a tenth of the player Federov was. All I'm saying is I'de rather sign youth than a used up player on the decline. Federov was dominant when he wanted to be. He WAS great, fantastic, and his s**t didn't stink. Now he's old and getting older. If it's a "Who would you want back in their prime" I would choose Federov. But it's not. Christ, why is it so hard for people to move on? The problem is...Fedorov is still better than Datsyuk. Fedorov is also signed through 08, while Dats is only through 07. Datsyuk is interested in leaving at the end of the deal. You'd rather take the less capable player for a shorter period of time? Now THAT'S silliness. true, fedorov would NEVER leave the wings...

its alrite, i havent been to optimistic about whats been going on either to be honest. i dont see us being able to challenge for the cup AT ALL to be honest if we dont sign datsyuk. i think its at the point of the chance we have left for this season, rests in datsyuks decision this sunday.

your quite the optimistic fan arnt you?? as long as we get datsyuk, i believe we have not to bad of a chance at the cup this year. i believe with the new rules our depth of skill will truely show for once with out the bear hugging dats and zetts.

look at how many minutes he got, and who was on his line.

i agree we need to go for the youth movement but , this year , with yzerman wanting one more year as well as chelios, obviously this is not that year. next year hopefully the youth movment will happen but its not happening this year so thomas as long as he can help the team is great for a one year contract this year.
