    25 Games for Torres

How many games is this hit worth? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmJreZmmZIE

Trotz lobbying for more goalie interference calls?

Yeah I'm just kidding. I usually just lurk. I may post more in general as the person I usually talk to hockey in general, and a fellow Wings fan, has unfortunately passed away.

Blown away by this. I'm sorry, I'm talking too much lately, I've used up my post quota for the next couple of years.

    Retribution for clean hits...

Wasn't clean? So does that mean it is dirty? Come on dude, that isn't a bad hit. Traveled a long distance? What does that even mean in this context when the puck is right there? I don't see a "jump" there anymore than a lot of very normal hits. Our own Kronwall has the habit of getting off his skates as he goes into the hit at the last second. I guess we just differ on the response. Notice after Kronwall's hit on Heatley what happened? A couple guys said some things, he didn't get mugged. Oh, and he "lept" a bit too into the hit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfX5BwDKjq0 What do you think of that hit?

    Retribution for clean hits...

I passionately disagree with this. What, so a guy makes a body check or hip check, and then he should be ready to get punched in the face for making a HOCKEY play? I was always told if someone made a clean hit, line him up for a clean one of your own. Is this the kind of stuff you want to see?

    Is the Sharks diving.....

Actually starting to hurt them? I kept waiting for it last year against the Sharks and it never happened. At some point when you keep diving the refs should become immune to it, or call it. The balance tips back in the favor of the non-diving team as the other team gets penalized for diving, real penalties get ignored, and players take themselves out of the play while they are lying on the ice. Late in the 3rd last night I kept seeing Sharks players going down, and no one caring. Perhaps this bodes well for the remainder of the series. What do you think?
