Yeah, they should keep Meech for sure. And I think they will. The Wings' have always been big on Defensive depth. They'll trim a forward like May before Meech IMO. And I do agree w/ the above poster that quoted me. They will send down Abs and probably May as well until the Playoffs. But I do not agree that they will trade Lenio and Meech. No way.

Souray has a big cap hit w/ 1 or 2 years remaining. Not an option for the Wings. Plus, the Oil will probably be wanting to trade East not West OP.

I know you didn't ask me, but these 20 minute video reviews where they have to confer w/ Toronto while they are in Dallas, Texas USA is beyond stupid. And if what Ken Daniels talked about during the pregame the other day, the "Challenges" become a reality I will puke. "Yes, let's Challenge that Offsides! Oh damn, we just lost our only timeout." I mean come on!! And yes, he really did say they were talking about challenging plays like that!!

I could not agree more!! I think this all the time. It's 25 timeouts in the last couple minuets. I think 3 timeouts per half would be a great start!

Of course he'll be a GM at some point, and probably not in Detroit. We just have to get over it. Bowman and Hossa left for Chicago, Todd McLellan left for San Jose. It's just the nature of the Business. And personally, I'd rather have Holland or Nill as our GM than Yzerman. And this article is BS anyway. So what if Canada wins Gold, does that make Yzerman some kind of genius?? I don't know, Canada was going to be pretty stacked either way you look at it.
