Nope. I totally disagree respectively. Datsyuk can get going by adding more minutes? No. If you've seen what I've seen this year, he has made bad passes like he usually doesn't make and almost looks tired out there. He plays 1st line minutes, 1st PP Unit, and PK, and you suggest more ice time for him by double-shifting? Sorry bud, I totally disagree. If anything, give him better linemates. Zetterberg. Hell, I'd take Clearly at this point, but don't double shift Datsyuk, this is not the Stanley CUP FINALS my friend!

Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but the new "Pure Michigan" commercial has Steve Yzerman in it! Pretty cool!! The commercial starts out w/ everyone taking a bit out of an apple, then they switch to Yzerman standing near the players benches at Joe Louis holding an apple and saying, "That's pure Michigan." Then they show some other people, not sure on everybody they show but one guy is standing at the very top of the Joe and you can see all the banners and jersey's behind him and then they do go back to Yzerman again, but this time he takes a bit out of the apple. Tom Izzo is in it too. Just thought I'd share. I know a lot of you are out of the state of Michigan and probably won't see this commercial so there is my best description of it! UPDATE: I just uploaded the video to YouTube, but I warn you it doesn't look as good as it does on my laptop, seems there may be a slight audio delay (not to mention the picture quality) but hey, it's YouTube!! lol Anyway Enjoy and tell me what you think of my first upload from my Dish Reciever!

I can't believe you guys do see the positive in this!! You see we trade Datsyuk strait up for Giggy! Then we have that #1 goalie!! And we have like a Million in Cap Room too, I think. And then, Ozzie can be traded. I mean who wants to pay a goalie like Ozzie under $2million a year to bring us to the Stanley Cup Finals 2 years in a row when we can trade him AND DATSYUK for Giggy!! I mean come on guys, it's about time we got rid of both those losers. They have done NOTHING for us and we are paying a HUGE amount of money for those guys! They suck. I can't wait till #13 is gone and that # opens up again. I hope Helm takes that number! Long live the sarcasm!!!!!!!!

Right on man. I keep hearing all this doom and gloom about them, but yet I still have seen ways that they can sign all these important core players and still keep something going. I just think a lot of Wings' fans are just hoping for the worse (Chicago cap problems) but I am pretty sure that these GM's and Braintrusts get paid what they do for a reason. Unfortunately, the Hawks will find a way around all this. Let's just hope (from a Detroit's fans point of view) that they have to give up a lot of draft picks or something!
