Can you get the sports pack? I just ordered on Dish and it's $5.95 a month and comes w/ all the FSN's (Pitt, Arizona, Boston, MSG x2, etc) and also comes w/ the NHL Network, NFL Redzone and some others that I'm not even sure about yet. It's great because FSN tends to cover all the local sports teams. So if you could get it, you'd get FSN Detroit which would have the Pistons and Wings on there. EDIT: Well now I just read that it'd probably be blacked out if the Pro Team is out of your area. But I am not so sure. I was watching the Boston game on one of the FSN Channels. hhmm.

He says he wants to stay in the NHL. Wings need to be calling up those kids you speak of instead of Chelios. 2-way deal just doesn't make any sense for Chelios.

Well I just talked to Dish and they know nothing about this free preview. I'll just have to wait and see I guess. But I did add the Sports pack for $5.95 a month and now I get NHL Network and NFL Redzone along w/ what appears to be all the FSN's. So I should be able to watch hockey games all the time now even w/o Center Ice. Since I have FSN Pitt, I can watch the Pitt games etc. Right now I am watching the Devil's Season Preview on MSG+. Now it would have been nice to have these two MSG channels earlier so I could have watched the Wings game!!

Of course I'd but him on the second line, and I bet Babs does too. You know that +/- can be a misleading stat, especially depending on the team around the player. Olli Jokinen, last year w/ the Flames, a -7. I bet you wouldn't put him on the second line either, right? Hell is Jarome Iginla was a -2 last year!! It's just as much the team around the player in +/- stats. There are 4 other guys on the ice.

Good points too, but remember the Wings were offering Hudler that $3.5 so they wouldn't have to go to arbitration. If Hudler was not planning on going to Russia, I am sure he'd have signed that deal. Plus with our current loses of Hossa AND Sammy, if Hudler stayed at that $3.5m a year, that's only one player. And then how much cap space would we have had to help make up the difference that we lost in goals with the departure of Hossa and Sammy??? None?? So riddle me this, Hudler @ $3.5 (bring up Abs), or Bertuzzi, Eaves, and Williams @ $3.5?? You see you have to remember that even if Hudler stayed, we still lost Hossa and Sammy~i.e, still lots of goals!!
