GROwl, you bring up a great topic. One that I often ponder. I do believe that Homer is a key part of the Red Wings' sucess over the years. I too would like someone to really show me they have a little "Homer" in them. It would be very appealing to see a prospect show those type of skills, or at least "home" in on them. As much as it pains me to say this, I can not watch the Griffins, and therefore I am not sure who might best fit this role. Does anyone else??

I've been wondering about this too, and your opinion seems to make the most sense. Every little bit will help down the stretch since we are so close to the max Cap limit. That would be great to see!

This is getting sick. What is up with the NHL??? I love the game, most things are fine by me. Let's work on getting the calls right, consistent, and unbiased. Then let's stop trying to make it better by changing the fabric of the game. Traditionalist, the loyal and true hockey fans should roll over in their future grave. Bettman is a joke!! In a way, yeah, but really I'd rather take my chances with the team we have since it's the same as last years minus Drake/Hasek and plus HOSSA!! We are so ******* spoiled here in Hockeytown lol

Right on man! I think we all know that we are most likely going into the Playoffs with our current roster unless we make a small trade that would land us that Neil/Mayers player. A trade in the offseason to help us keep Hossa/Franzen on the other hand........
