I totally agree. I think it's a busniess move, but I hope they prove me wrong. I think alot of Wings fans just have their "blinders" on thinking Feds and Mac = CUP!

I just don't see a way where we just end up with D-Mac and Fedorov. Even if there is another Defenseman added as well, I just don't see that getting us over the top.

I don't see them being built for the Playoffs like the Ducks are. I am worried that they may make a big splash come the Trade Deadline though. I would hate to see Hossa go there. As it stands, I think a healthy Detroit would beat Dallas as it stands right now.

Yeah, I really didn't think that they had a legit shot at Hossa. I say San Jose, Dallas, Detroit.

How the hell is Anaheim even in this list. They would have to trade away some salary right? Somebody explained it, but I forgot how it would work.

I really don't see them trading him to the East. Count out the Habs IMO. Maybe Dallas? San Jose and Detroit for sure. I'd say Boston too, but again, they are in the East.

Heard that on Hardcore Sports. That is crazy. Tanguay has a NTC too. Still remains to be seen though.

I'd say he is in his prime. But on this team his production will skyrocket. I could only imagine what the next 4 years would look like for Hossa playing with Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Rafi, Lids (for as long as possible), Homer, and the rest.
