Maybe not if they only had a deal in place that was pending a contract extension for Hossa (which DW said he would give the receving team 24-48 hours to work out the extension) thus creating a sign and trade deal.

I know you are laughing your ass off!! But the facebook in question had friends all from Finland and at least 3 relatives and some of the pics on there aren't your usual google pics from a web search. Oh welll, I will laugh at myself tomorrow if it ain't true, I have no shame!!

That's pretty much my thoughts on it. I (and probably alot of you guys) found out about the Datsyuk extension before it happened in that manner, but not that it made a difference like it would in this situation where they may be working out a contract extension.
