I agree with this. They are the same age too I believe. He would totally be a good pick up, and without the risk that Bertuzzi brought with him. Same size as Big Bert too.

Plus Zubrus is another Russian. I am sure that would make Datsyuk happy, and maybe they would have some chemistry between them. Assets: Has a huge frame and knows how to use it to protect the puck. Owns a nifty set of hands and a nose for the net. Still displays untapped offensive upside. 6'4" and 226 lbs!! Sounds like a younger and healthier Bertuzzi-type player to me!!!

Thanks, that's good to hear. I haven't had Center Ice the past 2 seasons and haven't seen much of him recently. He's young and huge. I think with the options left out there, this could be our guy for sure. I hope.

There have been so many loyal players for the Red Wings in recent years, I can't see any reason to complain. Shanny, Yzerman, Lidstrom, Draper, Maltby, Osgood, D-Mac, and so on. We are just spoiled Aussie. More than most other teams have been I'd say.
