Trade Sammy & Malts. Send down Lebs. Bring up Leino, Helm and Ericsson. And figure out a way to bring up Howard for a game or two. Start Howard instead of Ozzie. Its obvious that Ozzie excels when he has to compete for playing time, like last year. This year, no compitition, the job has been his.

So does that mean Sundin resigns with Toronto soon.

I was at the Det/NJ game on Sat and NJ did the same thing.

Guys, that has been their M.O. for years. Every time they get a decent lead, they sit back on their loins and to take it easy. Nothing new there.

I have been parking on the street for years and have never ever had a problem. You just have to be smart, not like some stupid assholes, don't leave your valuables out in plain site. Lock them in the trunk. I park on Rosa Parks, thats the street leading to the Joe, behine and next to the post office. I also park on Fort street around the post office. Just get there early because they go fast. Otherwise the joe garage and cobo are decent spots for a price.

Leino will not be on the roster as a back up. It does him no good to sit. I would like to see them trade sammy and keep Leino. But that won't happen. Leino goes to GR unless he's on a line. The kid looks great though.

Super easy guys. I 75 is closed just past the Clark St exit. You can go north on I75 and get off at Clark or Livernois which is the exit prior. I usually take the Livernoise because the truck traffic to the bridge takes Clark and sometimes Clark can be backed up. In either case get off at Clark or Livernoise, turn right. 100 feet in front of you will be Fort st. Turn left onto Fort. You will stay on Fort for about a 1 to 1.5 miles. Look for Rosa Parks, turn right onto Rosa Parks. You will then drive straight into the Joe and By the Joe Louis Garage which will be on your left. I however always park on the street, behind or next to the post office, Rosa Parks side, for free. Easy exit after the game. Never had a problem.

I believe signing hime now, the wings can reach total contract requirements set by the NHL.

I agree with everything said here. But with a big emphasis on Cheli's Chili after the game. Many times I have visited Cheli's after the games and unless they had to leave immediately from the game just played for a west coast trip, you can expect to see a few wings dining at Cheli's after the game.

I would love for you to be correct. But I don't see it happening. With the economy, high gas prices and the fact the wings raised tickets prices, its not going to happen. There may be an increase of asses in the seats, especially with the east teams coming in. But columbus, St'Louis, Nashville, Vancouver, Minne, sorry most of those games are not selling out. Hell, i get to 15-20 games a year, and I can tell you I have to cut back. Gas and tickets sales increase are going to cut a few games from my budget.

You absolutly right, you can not judge based on the 30 good games. Anyone remember the name Brian Boucher. How many shutouts in a row did he put up a few years ago. Everybody thought wow, finally, he broke out, he's the goalie of the future. Where the hell is he now. Is he even on the Coyotes goalie depth chart anymore sitting at #4 or 5.

I agree, stupid trade. Just goes to show why the Leafs have sucked for so long. They continue to make these stupid moves, signings. Mayers is not worth a 3rd pick. 6th or 7th maybe. Leafs need to build the young talent, not trade the chance away.
