You betcha, I'm there. Can't wait. LETS GO WINGS>
-
Yuppers, I'm with ya. Him and drake on the same team, closest thing we have had to the Kocer, Probert and Dmac days in a long time. Sign him up. The liberties that are taken with Dats and Zet would be over.

Gotta tell ya, I'm kind of disappointed at the ticket sales so far. Years past, openning day was guaranteed to be gone with in 5 mins of the tickets going on sale. Here it is fri evening and they are still available in most sections. Now I understand the horrible gas prices, poor econmy has cut into everyone pockets. But openning day, still available, come on. Have people lost interest in hockey? As soon as last season was over i could'nt wait to order my openning day tickets. And season tickets, no longer a waiting list. Kind of disappointing I must say again. Oh Well, GO WINGS.

As a winger he can still take all of the faces off. Darius Zubrus played RW for the CAPS the last several years and was always good for 500 to 600 face offs.
-
Lol. I traded my lang for a draft pick.

The only one in Detroit is right in front of Comerica. About a mile from the Joe.
-
That article said nothing about detroit being interested. Only that Detroit could use him.

Rafalski all the way. Much better defenseman to have on the Ice. And Rafalski CAN score. You have to remember, he has played on a defensive minded team for years. With the Wings type of play and overall wings defensive strenghts, he will have plenty of opportunity to put up Souray and Snieds offensive numbers.
-
Actually, I hope he is done for now. Give the young guys, Fipula, Grigs, Kopecky, Hudler, Quincy the ice time. Allow them to develope, see what they can do. With the group they have they still will make the playoffs. Come trade deadline, they will know if they need more and can pull the trigger somewhere if need be. Save the cap space for a late season trade or two.

I'm sick and tired of seeing people take liberties with Dats and Z. Drives me through the roof when someone skates by Dats and Z and shoves a glove full if ice in their face and nothing ever done about it. No one on the wings can stick up for them. Well thats about to change. The next time that happens, that player will find his head popped like a big bloody pimple against the boards. It may cost a few mins in the box and maybe a day or two. And i'm not saying he should make illegal hits to protect the other wings. But the liberty days are over for at least a year. He does not have to have a lot of mins, or even play every day. His presence alone may curtial the cheap shots against the wings. Good sign Kenny.

Niether. Resign Big Bert and if any spots are left allow the younger guys to develope.

Howe, You are right. You do not get the convenience charge back. Evrything else is returned in the form of credit to your card.

Now if we could just get the NHL owners to come togther and fire BUTTMAN.

The One and Only Positive I Have Faith, Kumbayah"

If the Wings play their game for a full 60 minutes That has been the problem all year long for the Wings. NOT playing a full 60 mins. If they play the full 60 mins, hell even 50, they can win thie whole thing. But they constantly take full periods off and it kills them. They better play 60 mins for game 4, or they are done. Maybe Jim Leyland can coach them for game 4. He demands 9 hard innings, maybe he can get 3 full periods too. -
Two things I can't do. Record a sports game or take a night off from work to watch a game. If I do, my team loses. It never fails, has happen a million times. So i don't do it anymore. I work nights, so I am forced to listen to Ken and Woodsy, which I love to do. How ever, last night I could not. I'M from Toledo and no Toledo station carried the wings. And 1270 went with the Tigers instead of the wings, which they never do during playoffs. So I'm hoping that FSD replays the wings at 3, like they do every morning. Not this date, its the Tigers instead. So needless to say I missed out of game 1 everyway possible. I sure wish I could have recorded them, but then they would have lost and you guys would all be pissed at me.

Non-Michigan fans: How did you become a Wings fan?
Blood On The Ice replied to Chaldean's topic in General
I hail from Toledo. My ass is in a Joe seat in 50 min. -
Because Babs put Cleary and Burt in on the Shootout. Fippula and Hudler should have been there. This team is playing not to win the presidents cup and 1st in the west.
-
That article said nothing about comparison. It said as a starting point. Which means he will start at 5 and go towards 8 or as much as he can get. You also make it sound like "Dats" is using that as a comparision. Thats just some writers opinion.
-
Lang, he can go. And Grigorenko, are u nuts. The guy has never played one day in north America and your willing to let him go because your tired of the talk. Give me a break. I think your age and lack of hockey knowledge come the through with this post.

Heres the McSorley Whack. You be the judge which is worse. I think Simon gets the dirty trophy. http://youtube.com/watch?v=h-sSoF40e30

I would love to see the Wings in the East. However, I do not believe the NHL will ever allow that to happen. The wings are the big money winner in the west. The NHL and the other west teams count on the money that the Wings bring to thier markets. Look for them to move Columbus or even Nashville

. Eklund had a bad day today. When has this idot ever had a good day. He is the worst site for NHL info out there. If I made as many predictions as he does, sooner or later I would get one right too. He rides his .001 % correct ratio and says "see I told you so". That guy is a total boob.

1270 Sports: Babcock says "players will be dealt"
Blood On The Ice replied to The Enforcer's topic in General
Eklund's reporting that he has heard stong rumblings that Tkachuk is Detroit bound. But he also adds it may be Guerin. My grandmother does not know the difference between a hockey puck or a basketball. Yet i would trust her opinion on a trade more than I would trust anything that comes out of that Eklund site. At this point in the game Tkachuk and Guerin are the only two big names left, what the hell does he have to lose to make that prediction at this time. Chances are he will be right. But my grandmother could do that too. -
Rolston is not coming to the Wings, Minne has the 8th spot as of now and he would cost too much. Smyth will not be coming either, his price would be huge. Plus he is the core of the Oilers and thier furture looks good, they are not in a major rebuilding mode. And Allison, he's retired and he has a glass head. He would be out for the year with one hit to the boards.
