Depending on what Hudler does, will probably determine what other moves are made. With the numbers he will make, i believe the likes of Williams and Burt have to go. Then Abdelkader will be brought up for good. Homer WILL be back, regardless of what this team does this year. So you can forget that spot or money free up. And unfortunately, I think Malts will return too. That really does not leave much room for any decent FA pick ups. Williams/Burt = Hudler money. Abdelkader = The small cap increase. The only thing left, might be what Lids gives back = breathing room for the wings next year. I would love to see Plekanec in a Wings Uni, but probably wishful thinking.

There won't be no going back to 8th. I expect the wings to finish 5th. The wings have the easiest schedule ahead. Colorado has it very tough. Av's finish 8th. Detroit plays Nashville at the Joe yet and Wings play one more than Nashville. LA has lost 8 of the last 13 and will keep dropping a few more. 5th wings 6th Preds 7th LA 8th Av's

I absolutely agree they can. The remaining schedule is set up for it. In fact, I think with the schedule they have compared to the Calgary, Nashville, Colorado and Los Angels, is very favorable and should move up to the 6th spot. The 5th is also very much in reach. Colorado and Calgary have the toughest road head. The 8th spot will come down to Calgary and Colorado.

Well I have noticed it several games now. Detroit wins, the back up goalie has ALWAYS come out to congratulate the winner. However, recently Ozzie has not. As soon as the horn sounds, Ozzie shoots down the tunnel. He may not like that fact that he is sitting, but he needs to support Jimmy. Jimmy is Always there for him. Conks was always there last year. And last year, when Conks was in, Ozzie always came out. Suck it up Ozzie, support the other players.

Anyone know what has happen to him? I have not seen him this year. He missed the home opener and he never does that. I asked a couple ushers, they did not know, but did say he has not been there all year. I know a handful of you don't like him, but I think he's ok, he gets the crowed fired up at times.

Always nice to hear that players are so willing to sign and take pictures. To share my own Cheli story. Two years ago my niece sent us a Flat Stanley. For those of you with kids, you might know what this is. Grade school kids draw and color a picture of a guy or gal. They are usually named Flat Stanley. The kids then send Stanley of to friends and relatives who then take Stanley with them on trips and or vacations. The host then writes a little story on Stanley's events. Stanley is sent back home to the kids with stories, pics memorabilia. The kids then do class project on Stanley's trip. Needless to say, my niece lives in Dallas and her parent, unfortunately and of course are huge Star fans. So we thought it would be cool to take Stanly to a redwings game. Stanley visited rink side where he got plenty of pics. After the game we went to Cheli's for drinks and eats. Just before we left Cheli himself shows up. We thought it would be cool if we could get pics of Cheli holding Stanley. He love the idea and was more than will to ab liege for a couple of pics. Stanley and his Cheli pics returned to Dallas and became part of the class projects and later hung on the Family hockey wall.
