Born to the tv viewing area of detroit sports. I'm also a Tigers and Pistons fan. No lions though.

Double-Tree Inn and Hilliday Inn express both decent rates. Both with in walking distance to the Joe and Both One block from the people mover. I stayed at the double tree about three weeks ago. Very nice, clean hotel. I highly recommend it.

Still no Raffy or Drapes for game 4. He did say the injury did not occur in the Columbus series. That means practice or off ice. HMMM. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...alski_will.html Update from Wednesday's practice at the Honda Center: Defenseman Brian Rafalski said he will not play in Game 4 Thursday. He has missed the entire series with an undisclosed injury that the team says is upper-body. Rafalski hasn't skated since last Wednesday but continues doing off-ice workouts. As he rode a stationary bike outside the dressing room, Rafalski said he's made "a lot'' of improvement since last week. He was vague when asked how and when the injury occurred but indicated it didn't happen in the Columbus series. "It just happened,'' Rafalski said. "I'm much closer than I was several days ago.'' Asked if he expects to play in the series, he said, "I want to play as soon as I'm able.'' He added: "It's always hard. You want t contribute and be part of the playoffs. It's not easy sitting here watching.'' Coach Mike Babcock said Kris Draper (upper-body injury) will not play in Game 4 and that he is planning no lineup changes and will stick with the same line combinations.

hockeystreams.com $20.00 for the playoff season or you could have paid $3.99 just for the day. Excellent feeds. searching LGW site, you could have had the answer instead of posting and hoping someone responds in time.

I hope they all make it too. But St.Louis is not in yet. Edmonton holds the tire breaker for the 8th spot based on head to head. However the blues are playing better than the Oilers, so hopefully they can over take Edmonton for the 8th spot.
-
Actually, St'Louis would not make it. They lose the tire breaker with Edmonton for the 8th spot. Oilers win based on head to head.

i have always hated the 3 point games. It should be 2 for a win and 0 for the loss. The only way both team should be awarded points is if the NHL dropped the shootout and went back to ties. Then each teams gets a point for a tie. while this would never happen, a team could lose all 82 games and still make the playoffs. Of course each game would have to go into overtime, mathematically its possible.

Blood On The Ice replied to sureWhyNot's topic in General
I don't remember who it was, but Quince did drop the gloves one time with the wings. -
