My fellow Wings fans, I reached out to the Red Wings nation back in October for support for the Phllies. Ultimately that worked and the Phillies won the World Series. Once again I reach out for support for the Eagles. I hope that more of that championship caliber support of Red Wings fans can help propel another one of my teams to a Super Bowl victory. Thank you.

How about having fan voting for those to participate in the skills competition and leave selecting the real team to writers/coaches/players, etc. That way the skills competition can have representation from every team and fans selections and the game can feature all the players that actually deserve to be there.

Thats obvious - the Red Wings cheat. Whenever Dats is about to get an odd man rush they open the doors at the Joe to give him an extra push from the wind. Its more difficult when they are on the road - they have someone on the "inside" who turns on the air conditioning vents at opposing arenas.

I say No to the Avs jersey; however, if you are a Sakic fan I see nothing wrong with a Nordiques Sakic jersey or Team Canada. I have always liked Forsberg but would never own an Avs jersey, therefore I have a Team Sweden Forsberg jersey.

Being from South Jersey I am amped about the Phillies being one win away. There is so much excitement in the city right now its unbelievable. Its hard to believe that the Phillies can potentially end 25 years of frustration tonight.

I know how everyone here feels about Philadelphia fans, but I am looking for some support for the Phillies. I know Philly fans have not done much to endear sports fans across the country, but I am reaching out to my fellow RedWings fans for some support. So please, if you could root for the Phillies perhaps some of that Detroit championship success will rub off. I am a huge supporter of the Wings and have lived and died with the team throughout the years; however, I have never seen my "home" sports city win a championship. Thanks again....GO Phillies and GO WINGS!!!!

I was at the game....the goaltending was horrendous. Nitty couldnt stop anything and Nabakov was just plain terrible. Biron came in and wasnt much better. I was really surprised how sloppy San Jose was and was amazed the Flyers came back from a 2 goal deficit in the 3rd.

Unfortunately that bum was on the 2002 team.

Being from Philadelphia I absolutely loved Hextall. He did not take anyones guff. He went after players and wasn't afraid to mix it up with anyone. Hextall played with a lot of passion and people around here loved him. Being a RedWings fan I was glad he did not get a Cup in '97, but always wanted him to win one. I doubt he will get one with the Kings organization.

I am trying to get a copy of all 16 Red Wings playoff victories from this past season on DVD. Is there someone out there that can help me out?

Same here, everytime I tape playoff games they lose so that leaves me scrambeling to try and get the games on tape. I have been successful in the past tracking down the games and have every playoff win in 97, 98, and 02 on dvd.

Say what you want to about Rendell, but at least he is a true sports fan and not some hack just posing for photos. True, he is not a Penguins fan, but at least he is a politician who is passoniate about sports.

Being from Philly I can shed some info on their numbers as well, although there are numerous Wings fans in the area, many Flyers fans were supporting the Wings and wanted to watch Pittsburgh lose. Many friends of mine stated they would continue to watch the finals to see the Penguins "get their asses handed to them."
