Yeah well you can talk about the playoffs all you want, but the fact of the matter is right now Osgood is pretty much the #1 goalie. He's been great since the season started, and he's getting the wins. Who's going to play come April is pretty irrevelant right now.

I don't see anything wrong with what Huds did tonight. Dion went after him first late in the first period with a shove, and then Huds stuck up for himself and shoved him back. He shouldn't have to back down or not say anything back due to Phaneuf being the stronger,and bigger guy. If anything we should see it as a good thing because little Rex, while being very small and fragile, is a tough cookie.

First off, let me just say I am SO very proud of the PAIN TRAIN! Atta boy, Andreas!! Secondly, Datsyuk's first goal was freaking amazing, and his second wasn't too shabby either. Lastly, while Osgood didn't play his best game he made some saves early on in the first that were big. GO WINGS!!! OZZIE IS 11 & 1! And another thing.. D-Mac looked so out of it and sad. I seriously had tears in my eyes when they showed him. I hope he's okay.

You could tell it was bad when he started limping. It's always something that looks so minor that ends up being a knee injury. Get well soon, Drapes!

I have never disliked, actually..hated someone like I do Hartnell. I think he is the most sorry piece of s*** excuse of a hockey player who is a f-ing classless, disgraceful, no good, punk. I'm so sick of hearing about him and his dirty hits and him getting away with most of it. It's complete BS and needs to stop now. It really was. Especially since mine is next week! Haha I wish I had pics! They'll show this on TV for sure either during tomorrow nights pre game or the game after. I'm sure they'll show Downey. Indeed.

Okay so I don't know if this belongs in this thread but it kinda relates I guess.. My Dad works at the Detroit Medical Center and he called me up around 12 and told me that all the Wings would be there in an hour. He then told me and my bro to come down there and that he'd get passes for us. I was excited as heck because well for one it's Ozzie's b-day and I get to see him, haha and for another I get to see ALL the Wings. Anywho, we got there, got our passes and just sat down on the benches they have in the main lobby and just waited. Little by little players started coming in. Everytime one of them would come in they'd look to my bro and I and say hello. It was fabulous. LOL then they'd go into the 'devolpment' room and get their jerseys on and come back out and go to visit the kids around the hospital. Ozzie, Downey, Lebs, Meech, and Malts went as a group and when Downs came out with his jersey on we were all laughing so hard. He had his pants wayy over his jersey, and up to his chest. Kinda like the Steve Urkel look. It was freaking hilarious. He did that to make the kids laugh and I just thought it was so cute and sweet. Another funny thing was when they started leaving to go home they all left and had a cookie in their hand. Homer passes us by and my bro was like "How does that cookie taste, Tomas?" and Homer takes a bite and is like "Mmmm it melts right in your mouth" and then we all started to laugh. It was so funny. Gotta love him. It was a great afternoon. Babs talked to my bro and I for like 10 seconds lol and after that Huds, and Kronner came by and Jiri waved and smiled at me. I nearly died. Of course though everytime Ozzie came by I just froze. I was just trying to get out a Happy Birthday to him, but couldn't so my brother did instead. haha you'd think I'd learn how to talk when around him by now. Geez. Anyways, just thought I'd share that with ya'll!

Hahaha last night when Aaron got into a fight my Mom was like who is that? And I was like "Downey..you know the fabric softener that makes our clothes smell and feel really nice."

1. I'm going to say that he doesn't just because I'll be VERY sad if he does. 2. Matt has done a heck of a job when filling in, and is a very hard worker that deserves to stay in the line up. 3.Our 4th line would lose a lot of it's energy, and toughness and it just wouldn't be the same. I think at this time Downey has almost earned himself a sure spot.

Good. They can't take any of the teams in the central for granted anymore. They'll now play harder, and tougher and in the end that's going to be much better for them when the playoffs come around. Plus, a little adversity is great for you in the long run.

I really, really hope that you are not being serious. The fact that some of you on here are bitching about not winning the game is quite laughable. Fact of the matter is the Jackets outplayed the Wings,and our boys didn't decide still got a point. Why? Two words: Chris Osgood. Yet you bash him for the SO goals. My oh my are some of us spoiled or what? ANYWAYS. Lilja's save was freaking FANTASTIC and I thought he was great tonight. Ozzie was freaking amazing and he is the reason the Wings started to turn the game around, and the reason they at least got a point. Downey is beginning to become one of my faves. Love him! I thought this was one of Drake's better games as well. Very exciting, intense game despite the loss.
