Iggy didn't just crosscheck Schneids. He took the end of his stick and hit Schneids on the side as well. Not only that, but you had to think it was all a plan seeing as how was out there with less than a minute left when the game was already lost for the Flames. What was the point of that? Not only that, but he kept going after LIDSTROM of all people, along with Hank, and Dats. It was just dowrnight classless. Jarome will always be a great player. I'll always love the way he plays the game for the most part, but I lost a lot of respect for him.

That's so weird that you brought up this topic, NFM. I was thinkiing the exact same thing when watching the Sharks game. I sorta lost respect for Joe too. Especially after the way he kept going after Hank. As for Iginla. There was no NHL player in the league that I wished would become a Wing more than that guy. I absolutely LOVED him. He's the whole package and then some. Great, great player and supposedly a hell of a guy off the ice. After the Flames series I unfortunately lost all respect for him.. I'm actually still upset about it because I find it odd how you can respect, and think the world of a player so much and then all of a sudden not give a s*** about him anymore after a playoff round. But yeah..that's what I think and feel anyway...

I agree. I've seen a huge difference in the way the Wings are playing. Physically that is. They don't take s*** from anyone anymore, and half the time they are the ones initiating the physical play. It's definitely a great thing to see. Btw, our boys did out hit BiggerFasterStronger last night.

Attendance tonight was 18,289. Pretty good. It's moving on up. You also gotta think it's a friday night so that helps.

Tonights game was by far my fave so far this season. Like KP said the crowd was SO into it. It did indeed look like almost a sellout. They were really loud and completely into it. I love when they kept booing every San Jose player that touched the pucked after they ruined Ozzie's shutout. Then the crowd started the Ozzie chants. Datsyuk's deke that led to the collision was freaking AMAZING! Everyone played great tonight. Can't single anyone out. So glad to see Flip get a goal. That'll get him going. Lils goal was freaking beautiful. Ozzie was really good despite only 11 shots against him. He made some big saves in the first. I seriously almost cried when they ruined his shutout. lol All in all, the Wings absolutely OWNED tonight. Great to see. GO WINGS!!!!!!!

I've always liked Matty. Always. Thought he should of been a regular a few seasons ago. He plays his ass off with the very limited time he gets and thats really all you can ask of him. Babs will play him more and more if he continues to play the way he has.

That sucks. I thought he kinda went down awkardly last night so maybe that was it. Great to see Ozzie play a lot more though.

Just got back from the game! Man oh man..Hank is still racking up the points. Phenomenal. Homer was amazing, as was Dats. Drapers line was fantastic. Ellis is kicking ass and I am so damn happy for him. Great job by our boys. GO WINGS!!!!!!

I don't agree. Now the JLA is quiet, but a few years ago and mostly for the past 10 the JLA has always been one of the loudest buildings in the league, and most indimitating to play in. Kinda sad that Babs said that though, but he's kinda right.
