I really wanted to go. All of my friends were working, and I asked my Dad to go and he said he'd rather stay home, relax, and watch it from the couch. That, and I am a full time college student, with no job. So no $$ for me.

I am so damn sick of these negative articles. I'm sorry, but the economy has a HUGE part in all of this. I don't care what anyone says because it's the freaking truth. These bastards make it seem like the Wings just all of a sudden fell off the face of the earth due to not being popular anymore and yadda yadda. BS. A horrible economic situation + high ticket prices don't mix well.

In a way I take the boo's towards Bert to be kind of a joke. Before he was a Wing he'd get booed non stop, and you can tell the fans really couldn't stand him. Now it seems like the boo's were kind of a bittersweet one. If that makes sense? I don't think they did it because they don't like him, and because he 'left' us, but kind of just for fun.

I'm pretty sure you'd still be allowed to purchase tickets. I have got to go tomorrow. Most of my friends are working late so they can't go, but im going to ask my Dad. $9 a ticket to see the WINGS is something you do not pass up.

Exactly. Matt has improved every aspect of his game, especially skating, and he deserves a spot. He's a very capable 4th liner that can grind it up, and chip in with some goals here and there.
