Oddly enough, before free agency started I kept envisioning Yashin in a Wings jersey. Not because I want him to become a Wing, but because I just see it happening. But for 4 million? Hell no. Aves would be great, and Kenny would bring him back in a heartbeat.

I love Lebda just as much as the next person, but when it comes to who's better when healthy,Nik is far more distinguished. You mention that Lebda is faster, smarter, and can actually control the puck, does that mean you think Kronwall isn't any of these things? First off, aside from Draper Lebda is probably the fastest guy on the Wings so that really means nothing and doesn't say a lot. Also, he is put out in pressure situations, and out on the point in the PP for a reason. He's got great vision, smart, and *can* handle the puck. He's quite a great passer as well. He just needs to stay healthy. That's the only thing bringing him down. Once he gets going you'll see what I mean. He'll be one of the best.

Rafalski is a fantastic addition. I was just think about this earlier today and got really excited.

Bobby Lang. I'll never forget that goal in Game 4 with less than 30 seconds left. And that tying goal against the Flames in Game 6, and that beauty of a goal against the Preds in Game 1 of 2004. Most of all I'll never forget you, Langer. Seriously though..I am going to miss him.

That is sick. But how bout Lilja? I would put him before Meech. The way he played in the playoffs, made me see him in a whole new light.

Kopecky is not nearly as bad as some of you make him out to be. Give the guy a chance before you bash on him to know end. He's a Maltby type of player, and from seeing him a few years in GR the guys has good some good hands. Plus he's feisty, and doesn't shy away from physical play. He'll be a 3rd-4th line checker. He just needs more ice time, and needs to gel with the guys seeing as how he was injured more than half the season. He'll be fine.
