Same here! Calder was beginning to be my fave after Ozzie. Lang was always one of my faves, Schneider is awesome, and I was starting to really, really like Bert. We get attached and then they leave. It sucks. Best of luck to KC.

Umm when he body slammed Phaneuf. That was because he tripped Lilja. He also stood up for Datsyuk a couple times when anyone got near him.

I am not talking about this past playoffs. The Wings were fantastic in terms of toughness and they proved everyone wrong. Bert was up there in hits in the league and while he wasn't doing much up front, he threw his body around. He's tough as hell and when he's out there, players think twice before they start something.

Yeah..how awful for the Hawks to have a guy that can score goals, playmake, is great on faceoffs, and can dominate when on his game. Poor Hawks. Why would they want him as their first line center. Come on people enough already. Chicago just made their team better. He's going to help them a lot. A fresh start will rejuvenate him.
