Huds is a highly skilled player. He's got all the right moves, and tricks and can dominate a game given more ice time. The knocks on this guy is getting old. The only reason he isn't wanted by some is due to him being small. WHO THE HELL CARES. If you can play, and make a difference then that's all that should matter. I'm sick of hearing "Oh he's not big enough, we need big bodies bla bla bla." We have other guys that fit that bill. Let Huds do his thing and make a difference for us. He sure has the potential to do so. He needs to stay.

I am so happy for Rafalski. He's so freaking excited! Which makes me all the more excited. kjsdgkjs Schneider says goodbye, Rafalski says hello Where the Wings belong!! How amazing is this guy eh?

Absolutely agree. I feel bad because the guy is taking much less and really loves it here. He keeps saying he doesn't want to move, etc.. and yet he isn't signed yet. It's all up to Holland really. Bert can get a lot more out there on the market. Especially with the way things have been going. Yet he's willing to take less here and they aren't jumping on it. If he's not re-signed tomorrow then I'm going to be really mad.

He was almost 'invisible' because he was battling three injuries at the same time. The guy was nowhere near healthy in the playoffs. Yet somehow he still showed his flashes of brilliance every now and then. When 100% he is one of the best. I know the Wings are worried about his back, but nobody knows about Todd's health better than himself and he says he's feeling great. They need to sign him and soon. And yes we do need him. If he doesn't re-sign, we are a bunch of 'softies' again. At least with Bert we have someone who's willing to protect our star players. The man is a beast, and the Wings need him.

Yeah that's true. That's where a player like Sarich would of been good to get. Kenny will have to figure something out.

I don't know if anyone already posted this or not, but the Wings tried matching the offer that the Ducks gave Schneids, and Matt didn't give them a chance to do so. Holland was pissed because he kept trying to contact him at offer him the same amount, but he chose the Ducks right away over the Wings. Don't get me wrong. Family should always come first and I know he lives there and what not, but I think it's kind of rude that he didn't even give the Wings a chance to match it.

I think our D is in great hands. Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall, Chelios, Lebda, Lilja, Quincey. All very, very good. Plus if something goes wrong he'll probably add someone at the trade deadline. As hard as it is losing Schneider, they upgraded with Rafalski. You'll very rarely see the guy make a mistake.
