Hasek, Bert, and Kozzie sound great but do we really have enough for all three? I'm guessing it's just Dom & Bert. Kozzie would be fantastic too though. -
I love this deal. Holland couldn't have found a better replacement for Schneider. The man knows what he's doing. Also, I don't think it means anything against Bert or Dom. I bet they'll both be back. Bert wants around 2.5-3 mil. It's just the years they are working on. Dom is said to be close. The way I see it they can sign them both and have about 4 mil to play with. Well 3, keeping 1 or so around for the trade deadline.

Them Flyers are somethin' else eh. They signed Timmonen for what 6.7 mil? They'll sign Briere for like 8. And I wouldn't even be surprised. EIGHT YEARS?!

Ryan Smtyh is overrated. People put him on such a pedestal as if he is God's gift to the NHL. Quite frankly it makes me sick. I'd pick Drury AND Briere over him in a heartbeat.

This is stuff that always bothers me. That it's always back and forth and you never know if they are saying it to throw us off, or because it's the actual truth.

I wonder what Bert means in term of long term. 3-4 years? If Holland wants 1, and Bert wants around 3 or 4 then they should just meet in the middle with a two year deal.
