Woah. Did not see that coming. Does that mean Tomas is gone? Or will he be back up?

Come on and sign Bert already! We know Dom is a lock regardless because he said he'd only play for the Wings. I am getting impatient!

Wings Want to Re-sign Bert Before Free Agency

So what's going on? Is he signing or what? Tomorrow is the last day! -
HAHAHA that is fantastic! I mean usually they just spell a name or two wrong on the Cup..but to completely forget someone? Ahahaha.
-
Great news.

TSN I don't see them offering him anymore than that. I bet he's no longer a Sabre in a week or so.

Love that song. Along with Guernica and The No Seatbelt Song. Anywho i'm listening to: The Used - The bird and the worm

He's been in shape for awhile now. The fat ass jokes are getting a bit old. Keith is still a very good player, and anyone that doesn't think so is probably just basing it off not liking him. The guy has scored 25 or more goals per season in the last decade. *Except when he was injured and only played a quarter of the season* He's a big guy, he puts up very good numbers, and is physical. He's still got it in him and is stil very effective. I don't get the knock on the guy. I really don't.

You made it seem like they were offering him 5-6 mil a year. Geez. I don't even think 3.5 is bad.

I don't know what the Sabres need to do, but I'm assuming they'd rather keep Drury and pay him more than Briere. He'll get much more on the open market, and he knows it.

Wings Want to Re-sign Bert Before Free Agency

Bertuzz is well worth 3 million. I actually think that's a steal given Todd being 100% healthy for the season. I think most are looking over the fact that when he actually is healthy, he's an outstanding player that makes a huge difference. He may have gone a bit down from after the incident, but he's still a very valuable player and in my opinion, 3 mil would be a great deal. He'd be snatched just like that via free agency. Especially with the cap rising, and desperate teams needing to fill voids up front. Anyways, I'd love for Bert to sign somewhere near a three year, 9 mil contract. -
Khan - Is there enough cap sapce for Smyth?

Sure they can. But I want Bert to stay. -
Haha me too, Pirate. Me too.

If he signed here it would be for very cheap. I say take a chance on the guy. A fresh start would be great for him and he could have his final run at the Cup and what better team to do that with than the Wings?
-
I don't know if this thread is suppose to be a joke or not, but I would seriously want JR on the Wings.
-
I'd take him in a heartbeat. I never noticed his lazyness but then again I don't watch the Oilers. From what I've seen against the Wings it seemed like he was a hard working guy with lots of grit and feistyness that can score a bunch.

I'm fine, thanks.

HAHA. Malkin being moved? And what is with this Kronwall trade stuff? Enough already. Jaysus.

awww great pics, SJ14! thanks!

He really does know Todd. I don't understand why it is so hard for some to believe that someone might know a celeb, or athlete..etc. They are humans ya know. They have 'regular' friends just like the rest of us. Plus, in the series against the Ducks when no one knew what was wrong with Bert, RedWings4Lyfe came on here and said he's got more than just one injury he's playing on, and that he hurt his tailbone. What came out after the playoffs were done? That Bert had a bunch of nagging injuries, and injured his tailbone. Coinicidence? I think not.

So very shocking.

Good stuff on Hasek and Bert. Schneids. No less than 5 mil? Thanks a lot, Philly. You a-holes.

I believe you.
