    2007 Baseball Season

I was sitting down with the fam and my cousin called me and told me that Justin was on the verge of a no hitter. This was like the 6th inning, so I turned it on and watched the rest of it. It was freaking amazing! I wish I would of watched the whole game. But I witnessed the amazingness regardless! WOOT JUSTIN!

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

Haha it was most definitely horrible! It wasn't just raining..it was freaking pouring down like crazy. We were so soaked. I remember all the fans went to find boxes to hold over our heads! Then all of a sudden the Wings arrives, the sun comes up, we all dry off, and it becomes the best day..EVER. lol

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

Yeah but he's right in stating that it is most definitely a hockey town. When it comes to the US, there's no better place to play hockey, and there are no better fans than Wings fans.

    Hasek to return next year?

Awesome news. Glad to hear that Schneids really wants to stay here too. I think both him and Markov will re-sign. If the numbers are right that is..

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

Beautiful pic. Looks even better on tape..or better yet being their live. I remember we got there around 8am thinking it was 'early' yet we had NOWHERE to stand. It was completely insane. Anyone remember how bad it was raining that morning, and as soon as the Wings and the Cup arrived the sun started shining. Shanny said "God loves the Red Wings." lol

    NHL youtube thread

So I thought it'd be a good idea to post some vids from youtube on the NHL. Like behind the scenes type of things, interviews..etc.. mostly funny type of stuff that we really don't get to see. I'll start off with posting a few of JR, and Bert. Roenick on Late Night with Craig Ferguson Bert on Cold Squad LOL Bert's not such a bad actor.. EDIT: Some more vids. "Know your teammates"

    Scoring the first goal

Definitely overhyped. Honestly? There were times that I wished the Wings would get scored on first. Just a feeling I had. lol

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

I don't recall saying that fans treated the team badly and what not.. you just brought up a whole new topic. I said everyone should be celebrating, it wasn't a knock on the Ducks or their fans. BTW, Wings fans do treat the players like 'people' not an obsession. Just because Detroit fans are completely by their team through it all, and love and support like no other doesn't mean they are obsessed, or that they take it overboard when it comes to the team. Detroit fans are some of the best, most passionate bunch anyone will ever come across. Be it in Baseball, Football, Hockey, or Basketball. That's why it's considered one of the best, if not best sports city in the US. So while you may think of it as an 'obsession' towards players, the players, and fans here think of it as perfectly normal.

What are you listening to? 2?

Haha love that song! "Took an oath, im gonna stick out till the end." Her new album is really good.

Jiri Hudler - Would you have played him more?

Huds has been living on his own for awhile now. He found an apartment shortly after they showed him and Langer on RWW living together.

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

No on says the Ducks didn't deserve it due to the low amount of fans there. I actually feel kinda bad. When a team wins a championship, and for the first time ever, the whole state should be celebrating!

Big Crowd For Stanley Cup Rally

That LA Times writer is full of excuses. I remember times in the 97, 98, 02 run where after games in the FINALS there were roughly 10-15,000 *not including the ones at the game of course* outside after games celebrating at Hockeytown Cafe, and the local bars near by. The fact that the 'party' was outside says enough. If it inside the Honda then that's one thing because you can only fit so much, but don't anyone tell me you can't have more than 15,000 OUTSIDE. I don't buy it.

Jiri Hudler - Would you have played him more?

No I don't mean injury wise. I mean behind the scenes type of thing.

Ratings for Stanley Cup finals down 20 percent

Well duh.. that's what happens when the Wings aren't in the finals. Haha UFC probably is getting higher ratings. Chuck Liddell 4 Lyfe.

    NHL youtube thread

Haha no prob! Agreed on Craig. He's awesome and funny as hell. Like the way Chris Rock interrupted JR? lol

When was your first Wings game at the Joe?

Awesome! I believe Shanny's first game was October 6th, 1996.

Some of our top moments from 2007 playoffs

lsjkgs okay so I watched the fight again. It was face to face, BUT Thornton jumped on Markov before he was even able to drop his gloves. WEAAAAAK. I must be thinking about another fight though..because I really remember sometime during the playoffs where Markov was right in front of Hasek and one of the Sharks or Ducks players tackled him from behind and Markov got up extremely pissed wanting to hurt the guy. lol
