Calder was fantastic the second the Wings got him up until the first round of the playoffs in which there was speculation he broke his hand. Holland said that wasn't the case, but I still feel that someone's not saying something. It could be behind the scenes type of thing that went on that no one knows about because I really don't buy that all of a sudden Calder's play went downhill. Doesn't make sense at all especially with how very well he was playing prior to it.

February, 25th, 2001 against the Coyotes. Still got the ticket stub with D-mac on it. Wings were losing 3-0, scored the next 6 goals and ended up winning 6-3.

Cheap on Thornton's part to come from behind though. Had Markov been actually face to face with him, he would of messed him up!

You know what? I gotta say this years playoffs were the most exciting, and memorable as for as 'moments' even moreso than their Cup years. Maybe that's going too far..but it's how I feel. Everything Cleary related was my fave. His penalty shot goal, hit on Phaneuf, Shorty against the Sharks that tied the game..just everything. He was downright amazing. Also can't forget CLUTCH BOBBY LANG. 30 seconds left! ljsdkgjs and Franzen ending the Flames series in double OT. I just still feel like the Wings were robbed. All those great moments, plus so many that I didn't mention and it's like you're suppose to say "Remember in '07 when we won the Cup and how AMAZING Dan Cleary was. Remember that huge save Lidstrom made. Schneider's OT goal that saved us, and Datsyuk emerging,..etc.." UGH.

I don't want Huds traded. I just want Bell on the Wings. Obviously that would have to happen via trade...but yeah I want Rex to stay so I don't know.

ksjdgksl!! I have been wanting Mark Bell on the Wings for like the last 3-4 years now. How soon do people give up on someone after one off year? What's garbage to one team, is treasure for another. I think he'd be great in a Wings uni especially with the the type of system, and puck possesion type of hockey the Wings play. Let's not kid ourselves here peeps.. Mark Bell is one hell of a hockey player and is a total package.

He's nowhere near as bad as a skater as most make him out to be. In fact, he's improved big time skating wise, and defensively.

I'm sick of the 'he's too small' excuse. Look at St.Louis, Sullivan, Gionta..etc. All 'small' players that put up big numbers, are huge assets to their teams, and make a difference. Size has nothing to do with it. If you can play then that's all that should matter. Jiri is very skilled, and he showed that with his very limited ice time. Put him on one of the first two lines, and you'll see him dominate. Also, people talk about his size as if he'd get trampled out there. Am I the only one who noticed that Huds isn't afraid to drive to the net, or get his nose dirty? He's pretty darn feisty, and I think some go overboard and think the guy is a wuss or something. No such thing in my eyes. So basically, yeah I think the Wings should have played him much more.

I would love the Wings to move to the East. I can tell ya one thing. If they did..they'd be in the Finals almost every year.

Congrats. I'm happy for the cool Ducks fans such as Duckette, Zamboni, WildWing, RobertWho... It's the best feeling in the world isn't it? All hockey fans need to feel it to truly appreciate what a beautiful moment it is. Anyways..I am in no way trying to stir up anything, but I just saw this article on TSN that I found interesting. Ducks a tough sell in Cali. Apparently Paris Hilton got more coverage, and was a more popular topic than the Ducks winning? That's so wrong in so many ways. For the first time EVER a team in Cali wins the Cup and that's what they get? That's horrible. I actually feel for the team, and fans.. but even without that wench Hilton, I heard no one really did much after they won. No parties, no celebrating..nothing. Except the fans in the arena. I don't get it. I was talking to my close friend that lives in Cali and asked him if they were partying down there for the Ducks. His response? 'The Ducks won?' He basically said he didn't know..and that no one cared. And he is a hockey fan. Also, they should have a parade! Those are the absolute best!

Harsh. He's actually a pretty decent all around solid d-man. It's unfortunate with what happened in the last game, and im sure he feels lower than low. I feel awful for the guy.

Drapes The Wings are really distraught about this post season and it shows. First Chelios last week on the radio..and now Drapes expressing how he truly feels. I agree with EVERY little thing he said, and I think in the end this is going to make the entire Wings team even closer *if that is even possible?* and make them want to win it even more next season. Believe me when I say 2008 is the year of the Wings.

Yeah, that hurts. The Wings gave the Ducks the hardest time of any in their Cup run. That you can't deny.
