I need to go!
-
Yeah, but they also showed that without Schneider manning the point on the PP that they couldn't score for the life of them. Anyways, I haven't seen the guy play, but Kindl is said to be an offensive d-man, that can be physical and plays with a bit of fiestyness. Regardless..I don't think he's ready yet, and I certainly wouldn't be comfortable thinking this guy could take Matt's place. *Even if the Wings were to go out and get someone else.* I don't think there's anyone out on the market better than Schneids. He's their top priority and he very well should be. If Markov doesn't re-sign im sure Holland will try and get someone to replace him, and his physicality.

The guy looks 12, and so very un-intimidating out there. At least in my opinion.
-
Yeah. I forgot to mention that. lol
-
I've always thought so too! Everything about the guy reminds me of Vladdy.

Age has nothing to do with it. Do you see the guy slowing down, or fading as he's getting older? He's once again had one of his best seasons, and at the age of 37. Having him retire as a Wing in another 3-4 years is not a big deal. Some of you are really underestimating how important he is to the club. Your injury excuse is weak. He had a freak injury, and it's not like he is one that constantly gets hurt during the season and playoffs. This was his first major injury since becoming a Red Wing. The Wings are fine physially if Kronwall stays healthy, and Lilja continues with being the beast that he was in the playoffs. Plus, Mathieu is pretty fiesty himself. He may not duke it, but he'll throw his body around. Really though..unless the Wings officially DON'T re-sign Markov then this talk means completely nothing. If he really wants to stay a Wing, he'll realize the situation the Wings are in, and take a pay cut. I'd definitely love for him to stay, and I don't think that's really out of the question if and when they re-sign Matt.

Oh yeah for sure. Did you read the article on Bowman warning the Sens of the Ducks 'illegal tactics'? LOL he was pretty much right on with that.
-
Yep. Much easier.
-
I think Calgary was much more of a goon team. I just think when it comes to the Ducks, Pronger is the only goon. I didn't see much from the rest. Hahaha remember after Game 5 against the Flames where the Wings whooped them yet EVERYONE on the boards was so extremely pissed? We were all like OMG we've never been so pissed after a victory. Now those were a bunch of goons..with a capital g!

I love Markov just as much as everyone else, but I really think Schneider is much more important to the team than Danny is, and I think the last series proved that. Yeah, but I just get the feeling that he wants to finish his career as a Wing, and that they in return feel the same way.
-
Tha'ts fantastic. He should definitely be on the Wings top priority list. Schneids is a very important, key part of the Wings D. I really hope the deal is around 3-4 years. I think the Wings can get Markov to re-sign if he takes a pay cut. I don't think they are just going to let him go. Especially after how great he was in the post season.

Hahaha Flip I love the pics. You are too cool and popular. The paparazzi must love you. LOL Pretty eyes! And where are your pics? Hmmm? LOL I love knowing what everyone on here looks like. It's great to put a face with the name.

Okay..somebody unconfuse me. I read all this and am still lost. So basically the Preds have a new owner, and the owner wants them to play in Hamilton and not have the Nashville Preds around anymore? And if that happens..when? This season or is that too soon?
-
3-0. 3-1. 4-1. 4-2. 4-3. Sooo close to 4-4. lol
-
Bingo. Even I have realized that by now. Honestly im really sick of the Ducks bashing on here, and that they weren't good enough. Enough is enough. We get it. Did the Wings outplay them for the most part? Yes. But sometimes it's not about how you start, but how you finish, and that's how the Ducks played it. They capitalized on their opportunities and our Wings didn't. With that being said, I still think the Wings were the best team in the playoffs, and I still think that bogus penalty in the dying seconds of Game 5 turned everything around, but that's just hockey I guess. If the Ducks are meant to win the Cup this year then let it be. Good for them. They've played tremendously against the Sens so far, and well would it really surprise anyone if they did win it all? I don't think so. We might not like them, but we can't deny that they are a talented bunch. If they win it, and im kind of thinking they will now..then good for them. That's that. Let's move on to next season for the Wings.

Haha I know right. I don't even see how hockey being fixed is possible. Can you imagine a coach to his players. "Hey..if any of you guys get like an odd man rush..or a breakaway...just try and shoot wide, or go in with a weak shot. They are paying us to lose..and well money is more important than winning!."
-
If it was fixed, you'd see a Red Wings/ Toronto finals showdown. Surely if they wanted to fix it they'd have the teams in that get the highest ratings and are the most popular.
-
Absolutely not.

^^^ No problem. Here's an interesting article on Cheli. It's an interview that's pretty much summed up. Talks about his relationship with Holland. Annnnnd he defends Langer. HELL YES. Cheli.
-
So basically the Cavs didn't win the game, Lebron did. Is that guy superhuman? He IS the team. Geeeeez. He scored their last 25 points. My goodness.
-
Yeah I know what you mean. Some call it playing 'reckless abandon' as in putting yourself in those tough, dangerous situations where you can get injured, and you just don't care. I don't think Kronner plays that way. If you look at all his injuries they were mainly freak ones. Getting caught in a rut during warm ups and breaking his leg, tearing his ACL, getting hit from behind and breaking his sacrum..and so on. I just don't see the whole reckless thing.. that's just what I think though.

2ND OT comin up. WOOT. GO PISTONS!!
-
This was Kozlov's first time in the playoffs since 2001, and his team got swept. Kronwall is a stud. He's got a lot to offer, and some great potential. The reason he can't show it is because when he finally does, and finally starts playing his game he gets injured, and badly. Bad breaks is all.
-
Ouch....

OT. Pretty good game tonight. I'm not a fan until it gets exciting..which is right now. I'm surprised Drapes, and Cheli aren't at the game.
