Who else went to playoff games?

Hey we were at the same game! LOL at your dream! Poor Hank. At least he apologized! I had a dream once that I was best friends for Joe Thornton. It felt so real that when I woke up I was like "hmmm I wonder where Joe and I are going to hang today"

Who else went to playoff games?

I went to Round 1, Game 1. WHERE BERNIE HAPPENED! lol It was a fantastic game, beating the Flames 4-1 and seeing the Wings completely dominated from beginning till end. Ooh and the scrum at the end that at that moment showed the Wings were a different team and weren't taking s*** from anyone.

    Opinions: Most improved player?

Playoffs: Lilja. I am damn proud of him. In fact, I love the guy and want him to be a Wing for awhile. Season: Cleary and Mule.
  9. That's exactly what I was thinking! lol That or if god forbid any of our D got injured, we'd have Feds to save the day.

    2007 WCF Post-GAME 6: Ducks 4, Red Wings 3

Yeah, I remember '02 and that's why I thought the Wings would win Games 6 & 7. It just seemed to familiar. Honestly though? The Wings not being so dominant in every game and winning consistently is what I like best from them. The fact that when they were down in a game, or series, they'd continually battle, and never give up until they won. I liked that they didn't have it easy *like in '02* and that they had to work their asses off for a W. That to me showed their character, and heart more than anything. Them losing last night upset me, but I am still really proud of them because while they did play poorly in the first two periods, they still never gave up even when the score was 4-1. That was pretty much the story of the playoffs. Always battling back, and almost always winning when doing so.

So you know, if I had to make one change...

LOL today I was crying to my parents about the Wings. Literally. I was all.. *wipes tears away* "And now we have to wait another 4 months till the season starts..and then another 11 for the playoffs to begin! WHAT IS THIS CRAP!" and then they just stared at me and said that I need to be patient. PSH.
  13. OMGNESS I knew I forgot someone. lksjdlkgjs HUDS! You know I was thinking about free agency today and how amazing it would be if Feds came back. Can you just imagine him on a line with Pavel and Hank? I know they are all centers, but they can all play either wing as well. Damn..i'm already calling that it would be by far the best line in hockey.

    2007 WCF Post-GAME 6: Ducks 4, Red Wings 3

It sure would of made a difference, and thats why it's heartbreaking. They said from what I've heard so far that they got too excited when the game began. Weren't thinking straight, made some passes, plays..etc..without thinking it through, were impatient..and so on. What changed in the third then? Thats what I don't get. Had they come out in the first and second they would of dominated and we would be seeing a Game 7 tomorrow. It's okay though because they had an amazing year regardless.

Haha yeah did you watch the game on CBC? I did for the 2nd & 3rd period and thats when I saw it. Maybe those that were watching on VS didn't see it because they probably didn't show it.

    Thanks for having me!

Wow some of you are complete asses. Show some damn class. Duckette, it was great having you hear on these boards. You were awesome the entire time, and definitely a classy one. Congrats to you and your team and good luck! Hope to see you around here some more.

    pierre mcguire .......

LOL. Not good for his health, but whatever he pleases I guess. I love that guy regardless. What a warrior. It was hilarious last night when he turned around and punched the boards because that fan was getting on his nerve.

    Draper on 1270

Thanks. Tuning in now. What did he say about injuries?
  22. HockeyCrazy3033

    Injury Tally Over/Under?

Cleary. He's one player that I think of that absolutely breaks my heart because he was unbelievable. He deserved it all. I bet each and everyone on the roster has some kind of injury, probably minor ones..and some more than others but they were all pretty banged up. Just like im sure the Ducks and Sens are. Homer definitely wasn't the same after the hit. Calds was hurt for sure. I could tell from after the Flames series when he shook with left hand and held his right down. He was hurt and it was obvious. Lilja was pretty banged up and bruised as well. Blocked so many shots, and got stung quite a bit, looked like his legs were hurting a bit. I think in the next few days we'll hear more about everyone. There will be a list..a pretty big one I imagine.

    Dump Hasek, Play Howard

If Hasek stays I'd be perfectly fine with him and Ozzie. If Hasek retires, then I'd like to see Ozzie be #1 and maybe bring in Howard to back him up or possibly a free agent. Howard is going to be great for the future, but he's not ready right now.

After your team is eliminated...who do you root for?

I now wish the Sabres would of made it because I actually like them. I'm not rooting for the Ducks that's for sure. I don't care for the Sens either... whatever I suppose. Go Sens.

Free Agent Names to Look At

Why not? I agree. If Hartnell ever became a Wing..I don't know what I'd do.
