    Bertuzzi Update (1:37pm): Game-time decision

I hate when they play with our mind every second. Either he's in or he's not. UGH. Some make it seem like he's fine and then some make it seem like he's out indefinitely.

    Lidstrom can make statement

Captain Nick confident in his team. Also, check out these Wings gallery from their practice yesterday. They are in good spirits, just goofing aroud and having a good time. That's great to see.

    Lilja deserves props

Lilja's disaster. Big credit to him for staying after and talking to everyone even when he was completely down and out of it. I really feel awful for him. It's not you fault, Lils. You tried.

    Lidstrom can make statement

You gotta stay loose during practices, and before game time. It brings the team closer together. I remember before the Wings won the huge game 7 against the Avs in '02 Bowman was telling the fellas jokes in the lockeroom right before the game.

    The Hudler Controversy

Trade him? Ha! Huds is one, skilled, dominant player. Look at what he does with the very little ice time he gets. The guy is talented as heck. The little guy is fiesty as heck too, especially for people ragging him for being so small. He gets into the corners, mucks it up, and even throws his body around from time to time. Hell, I even remember seeing him stick up for Drapes one time. He doesn't get pushed around like many people seem to think. Their is no doubt in my mind that he's going to be absolutely huge for the Wings now, and in the future. Trading him away would be completely foolish.

WCF Game 6 (5/22) GDT: Red Wings @ Ducks - 9 PM ET

He split them up in Game 3 and the Wings went on to win 5-0. I actually like them being on seperate lines. It makes it tougher for the Ducks having to face two great lines and have their best players try and stop Hank and Pavs on different lines. Plus it helps the guys that they center on their lines play much better. We'll see what he does tonight.

    "I Have Faith" threads

You know there has never been a year in which the Wings have won the Cup and haven't had to face adversity. Adversity is GOING to happen in the playoffs. It's times like these when it show's the teams' true colors, and character. Sometimes adversity is a very good thing. We'll see what it does for our boys tonight. My guess? They'll kick ass out there and bring it back home. LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Btw, the 1000 post stuff has been done several times. It's not that it doesn't work, but it's moreso that the Wings have to do their thing. It's grea that they have our support though. Let's just have this thread be a great, mojo/rally type of thread.

    Tomorrow Night

And I am in no way ripping on you, but I completely disagree. I am sorry but Giggy has in now way stolen the series. Not at all. He hasn't even been great. He's been solid. The Ducks have been outplayed for the majority of the series and in no way should they win due to 40 or so seconds of complete luck and flukey goals. The Wings are out there playing dominant hockey, and taking it to Anaheim in every aspect of the game, yet somehow the Ducks come out with the W. Their luck has gotta end sometime, and I think it'll be tonight. Another thing I don't agree with is the Wings supposedly being in the midst of becoming a good playoff team again. This team isn't good enough? I've honestly haven't been this impressed with a Wings team in the last 5-6 years. *Even when we won in 2002* that was by default on a completely stacked line up. This 2007 team has got it all. Young, skilled players mixed with future hall of famers, speed, toughness, grit, great goaltending, heart, will, and determination. In all honesty? This has been by far my favorite Wings team. Even from the years we won the Cup, and believe me that is saying A LOT. This team has got all the right tools to go even further. They know they are two wins away from going to the finals. Do you think they are just going to sit back and let the lucky Anaheim Ducks just steal another win from them? I think not. As far as im concerned the Wings are going to be completely determined to go into the game tonight, put forth their best effort, come out on top, and bring it back home. They've shown time and time again this season that they are more than capable of handling adversity, and I 100% believe they'll do just that in Game 6. GO WINGS!!!!

Let's get the W and bring it back home for Game # 7. Lilja deserves props

Lilja interview I love you, Andreas! I've seriously went from not caring about him at all in the beginning of the season to now having so much respect for him, and him actually being one of my........faves. Righ on, Edi. You know in the San Jose series Lilja was quoted saying: "Heart can out battle size anyday."

    I Like This Hull Guy

LMAO. I'm sorry, but this was hilarious. The Wings did dominate so Brett has every reason to say what he did. People will think it's just because he played here and what not. Not the case. He was dissing the Wings against the Sharks and such when they didn't play their game. The man just speaks the truth.
